Can't we all get along - in Imperial City?

Not everyone that goes to Imperial City wants to fight everyone. Some of us just want to go enjoy it and farm for our Tel Var Stones. After all, we all would like some Chests for our houses! Could we be more kind to each other and maybe leave that lone guy farming mobs by him self alone?

I don't see what the big deal would be to just let people enjoy the Imperial City without instantly ganking them and tea bagging them. It really hurts my feelings sometimes.

No. PVP area. Get used to/over it. People farmed tel var there lonnnnng before you rocked up for your boxes. Part of that means you will get hunted for yours. They get half of yours if you die. Why shouldn't we/they hunt you? Go with a group.

Hmm, feels like another thread to create debate and tie in to the other tea bag thread with that last line. PvE in PvP areas has been done to death in the event threads. Novel use of IC mention to make it that iota different however. 3/10 for this one.

To the point in hand. It's a PvP area. You are a PvPer (as you have proposed PvP changes in the past, around keep cut offs) so PvP. Best way to get big numbers of stones is killing folks and nicking theirs.

The point of the zone is PvP hybrid. Expect PvP. The buzz of farming stones and keeping an eye out for action is the best part of imp city. But you know that. Without it ever PvEer would be a Tel var millionaire and the market would be gone.

Put together a permablock, bol spam magplar and hope whoever attacks eventually gets bored? Otherwise it is what it is and learn to pvp if you want to hunt for two var. too many threads on this already.

Only reason i go there is to farm some stones, if I wanted to pvp i would go to cyro or battlegrounds and not slaughter PVE guys that have no clue about PVP.

Listen op, this is PvP area and will always be. Deal with it. If you are too lazy to put some impen gear on yourself, then it's your fault when you are getting killed.

Someone killed you and you lost your stones?
Then move your butt, go back there and kill him to get the stones back, instead of crying here.

I'm surprised people still play Imperial City personally. I've never done the quest for Imperial City because I usually get distracted with the PvP element of capturing the districts or ganking. Or I'm there to get Tel Var and I'm done.

PvE blending with PvP was an awful idea in my opinion...Maybe that's why we aren't seeing any future content with it?

We CAN get along very well, hand IC to their rightfull owners (= Daggerfall Covenant) and crown me Empress.

I shal grant you the freedom of slaying any daedra at your will as well as free entrance to IC, appart from a rather modest routes duty.

Let me remind you that ZOS got really upset last year when people decided to be friends and "roleplay" together at bleakers during the double AP event. So doing the same in IC will probably make ZOS very sad again...

I'll never understand why people want to go to a PVP area but expect to be left alone! If you don't want to be attacked/killed, stay out of IC. The PVP aspect is a big part of the fun!

IC is one of the more fun PVE area and i love its concept and telvar farming, however if i see an enemy player ill kill him before he kills me, Im a total pve player even go there with pve gear but manage to get 1 on 1 kills sometimes

I wouldnt mind a fully pve version of it

IC is a PvPvE area, unique through out the game, TelVar is a valuable currency that can be used to buy some very interesting rewards, that's why IC is the way it is.

This is a serious question, because of the way you are baiting the threads these days. Most of the threads that have been posted so far have been discussed at length, why not go through those threads and give a new or unique suggestion.

Stupid idea: make it so you can flag yourself as "non combatant" in imperial city making you immune to the PvP aspects, with the trade off being you can't earn AP and you only get half telvar rewards from killing mobs/bosses/chests

I just think that if you die you die. I die. *shrugs* but I often surprise who attack me and hand them their backsides. Is so funny when they come back and back and die till I get sick of it and NB stealth away!

The entire point of Imperial City and the tel var system is that you can grind them out but the danger of being ganked looms overhead. Dont like it then dont go there. Still want the tel var boxes and loot? Then do try and go in big groups or get better at anti gank tactics. The zone is designed FOR what you and some other commentors here are frustrated about. There is really nothing more to it than to adapt to the environment that is the nightblade playground......err i mean Imperial City, and its dangers.

I would explain the obvious that Imperial City is a PVP area entered through the PVP area of Cyrodiil through the Alliance War tab and that with the exception of your alliance gates, sewer headquarters, and a few quest locTions there is no place where you can expect to be safe from other players fighting in a Player vs Player zone, but...

I have a feeling you don't need the obvious pointed out. You just wanted to vent and throw up a "Please dont kill me, guys!" on the forums.

Good luck. Its a PVP zone and everyone who ga is you is playing according to the rules and abiding by the incentives of the Imperial City zone.

Now, the teabagging is a reportable offense if you want to be that bothered by it.

If theres too much pvping going on i just relog on pvp character and try to drive them out of there, after i get my stones back

but seriously if every farmer had a pvp character stored in the sewers, and they actually were willing to group up and and drive them out, indstead of farming while others take care of the flags .. this wouldnt be a problem
