The Dye slots for this item are rather odd.
I am an Argonian so I get the leathery looking skullcap behind the feather row and not a 2nd row of feathers.
Dye slot 1 - the bright green feathers (they don't take other colours as brightly though)
Dye slot 2 - the top edge of the silver-white front piece, default it seems to be gold like the 3 spikes above it. Very narrow band
Dye slot 3 - the bottom edge of the silver-white front piece, default seems to the be gold like the 3 spikes at the top of the front piece, very narrow band.
Having such narrow trim pieces dye-able but not the spikes that are the same colour is odd.
The silver-white front piece is not dye-able.
The darker details on the silver-white front piece aren't dye-able.
The 2 gold spikes aren't dye-able.
The 2 grey feathers that drape backwards over the head aren't dye-able.
The leathery skull cap isn't dye-able.
Now, why wouldn't you make the largest areas dye-able at least?
or have the dye tint more than one section of hat?
example:
dye slot 1 = same as current (be nice if it took colours better/brighter)
dye slot 2 = the 3 gold spikes AND the entire trim of the front silver-white piece.
dye slot 3 = the silver-white piece, it's detailing, the 2 grey feathers and leathery skull cap part. (since they are different original texture/colour, they wouldn't look identical but would all be tinted to the new colour scheme at least...)
