Not really because if you point out any issues in the PTS they generally will not fix them on release. and only reason I like it, is so I can find a PVP build that works to annoy a large group of people.

First I don’t like having my play erased. I know, dumb.

Second games don’t use the pts the way I would like to seem them used. It seems mostly they are used to make sure the patch doesn’t blow up the server. So as long as the patch doesn’t burn down the server it is going live on it’s scheduled date, the rest gets fixed later.

Im sure they get info from the pts and maybe start working on things, but over all if the bugs are going to make it to live I might as well just stay on live.

And just to throw this out there, this isn’t something I just see Zos doing. Several online games I play take this approach with their pts. So this isn’t a hate Zos thing. But more a hate the norm thing.

not really the new content, but rather the new balance changes. Kinda hard to find people to duel tho, depending on when I hop on.

I'm hype as *** to buy the expansion

but I'm not going to sour my sense of exploration with an unfinished package, you know what I mean?

Looking up class change notes and updates is cool, but I don't want to play it until it's been bought and I can do as I please. I want to do the new dungeons and get salty over bad players and experience all that cool stuff in full.

    I was happy last time

Then many things reported were ignored (mainly speakingn about bugs)

I decided not to spend as much time on it as i wish to avoid the disappointment of knowing the bugs and seeing them going live

I've never been interested in playing a beta (closed, open, whatever) of any game's expansions. I'd rather see the theoretically-finished product.

Of course, with all the various other ways that companies put games out nowadays (f2p games frequently open up in "beta" and then declare a "release" later, even though there's no real functional difference; Early Access games can be alpha/beta quality, or can be well made but producing content in chapters; etc) it's sometimes hard to draw a sharp line.

(One clear separation is between honest-to-god beta/PTS things where your progress will be wiped, and "betas" which are on the regular servers and effectively just a head start for participants. I'm definitely not looking to spend dozens of hours playing preview content only to lose everything and have to do it all again "for real".)

I played a beta before for a game (wow BC) and when it released I didn't have the same level of excitement.

I don't want to know beforehand with games.

I got an invite but decided I wasn't going to do it.

I prefer leaving the testing to the experts. I'm just happy playing overland content. And staying on live servers is a no brainer especially with Anniversary event going on.

I would love to have the spare time to devote to the PTS but I barely have enough spare time to say that I play the game.

I am grateful to those that do have the time and devote it to testing on my behalf.

I think a PTS is very important. Truthfully I stopped using it in this game long time back when they were making some major class changes (back when BOL had the major changes)

86 pages of feedback to the templar thread without a single response from ZOS. Pretty much have not really used the PTS since that time.

I voted "No, I can't be bothered" because my feeling is that PTS cycle is unreasonably short. This isn't a DLC, this is an expansion, and priced as such. Yet, they treat it as DLC for purposes of PTS. And more importantly, vast majority of feedback, no matter how universally viewed as valid, tends to get ignored anyway. Just feels like a wasted effort.

I've played betas and PTSs in the past and have usually wished I didn't. Most of the time I end up going into the actual releases with far less enthusiasm due to glitches and bugs that are inherent to the pre release versions of the game. I have found over time I enjoy the game more if I just wait.

I don't care about PTS testing because the things I and others bring to their attention are never addressed. I do use PTS to preview things, especially in the case of new content, to see if it's anything I want.

I don't want to do it myself because I don't want to spoil the game for me when it goes live. I do, however, care about the work others do. Reading the PTS notes helps me prepare in advance for all the bad changes ZOS will make.

Yes, for giving feedback and improve the game how I want

I test functions of the game and I feel that player involvement is a great way to improve the game

Players always will try and do a myriad of things that the devs would not even think of. Players are also extremely good at finding things like quest and graphic bugs, misleading and incorrectly functioning, and other issues. This only helps the game.

I remember in the Housing PST a Furnishing Pie recipe that required 50 Kuta Rune stones to create, that was found and of course never made it to live.

So player testing is a good thing.
