MagSorc Self Healing?

I don't think hard about it cause whenever I am on my Sorc I just make sure Power Surge is always up and I spam Ward all the time. But what are the full range of options for self Healing on a MagSorc besides Resto Staff on the back bar, the Twilight, and Dark Deal? Is there anything else? I would've settled for using Dark Deal but that skill has that ANNOYING cast time that locks you in your bar until the full animation ends.

For PvP on my back bar is Healing Ward, Dark Deal, Power Surge, and Resto Ultimate. Pretty good amount of heals there.

Not necessarily wonderful options but clannfear instead of matriarch or simply tri-stat potions. Clannfear, of course is an inferior heal to matriarch and potions have cool downs to deal with.

I use surge & empowered ward on my magsorc and do keep tri-stat potions ready and that works fine. I do run matriarch but don't really need her for me; I run matriarch to provide heals for others.

My bow/bow stamsorc runs surge & hurricane to keep healthy and uses dark deal to sustain stam and self heal as needed. Since managing stam more than health is the challenge on bow/bow, I find dark deal preferable to vigor.

Yeah darl deal skill ..is horrible. Locking bar on 3 bar sorc just ruins it.

But yes those are your options.

You should use power surge and boundless form. Every second the lightning hits and if you have high Crit that’s a constant heal, especially combined with ward and possibly annulment, no need for Resto staff

Degeneration outperforms Surge under certain circumstances, mainly being forced into defense by multiple opponents.
Would not recommend, however.

Sorcerers have a passive that heals them for 8% of their max health when hitting an enemy with a Dark Magic ability, so like 1800 heal PvE and 900 heal PvP.

But it's tied to a frag proc or your CC ability (Rune Prison) with an 8 second cooldown. Unless your spamming mines down which you'll see good heals from that I'm sure.

But don't worry it's being buffed to 10% next update, so it'll be a nice viable 1k heal in PvP. /sarcasm
