BEWARE - Tythis Andromo item consumption bug

Submitted two tickets over this and I can't reply to either one, so I'll explain and warn who I can here; hopefully everyone is more careful than I apparently need to be when dealing with this personal banker.

I was in the middle of using my personal banker that you purchase in the crown store, Tythis Andromo, when instead of depositing my Telvanni Maces motif and an unknown blue recipe, my character Doctor Peppuh consumed them instead (04/16 11:20pm EST). Turns out Tythis Andromo moved while I was in the middle of using him. It used to actually kick me out of that window when Tythis moved, but now it's keeping the window open without allowing me to use him and basically behaving as my inventory instead of a banking window, causing me to unnecessarily consume items I'd like to instead deposit. So to whoever uses him, be careful because you may end up using up losing valuable consumables.

I honestly doubt I'll get either of these back, since I don't even remember what one of them was (blue recipe), but I'd like to at least warn anyone else that this bug is happening and you can accidentally use valuable consumables.

There is already a bug thread about this, but I think people should be more aware of this bug. Especially because no one at ZOS has replied to it.

This has been a problem since they released the assistants and it's annoying.

Tythis is just a natural born troll. He wants to watch the world burn.

He always has something better to do than to deposit your items.

Yeah I've also had him move and used an item as well. Xbox na so yeah it happens. He needs to stop moving... That likely would fix much of his bugs.

He can move, just don't turn off the bank UI when he does. Merchants and bankers in the game world move all the time, but only for other players (they remain on your screen with the UI staying open). It's only when you close the bank/store UI that you realize they moved. So ZOS has a fix for this, they just need to implement it. I'm not holding my breath that they will though. I see an alarming trend of ZOS not fixing things they sell to us because they already have our money (see the Warden class).

You have to buy the tythis deluxe version for 10k crowns and he will store 100% of your items without losing any.

I'm pretty sure the assistant actually ate one of my items before because it closed while in the middle of a deposit...

Lately I've been doing crafting writs on all characters and I noticed when logging in one character that their inventory was 176/180 and held only chest pieces, so I moved enough pieces to the bank (using the assistant) to make room for the writ items and while doing that the banker closed during a deposit. When I finished doing writs and was moving the chest pieces back to that character's inventory I noticed there was a missing chest piece because the inventory was 175/180, I even re-checked the bank and there was no chest piece left behind.

I really wish they'd fix these assistants so they wouldn't walk away and/or kick you out of the menu while in the middle of interacting with them. Sometimes they'll close window in less than a minute and sometimes it seems to stay open for several minutes, so maybe them closing the window is because they wander away. Considering how much these assistants cost and the fact that they only offer half the service, you'd think they'd function a little better and be a little more user-friendly. It's a real PITA chasing the assistant around trying to use them because they won't stand still, or comparing inventory items with banked items but the assistant keeps closing shop on you.

I'm on xbox one, I don't think I can do that.

that being said if you put him in a house he doesn't move on you there.

i know its not a solution to an obvious problem, but it is a work around until they fix this "shifty" banker..

Hey, we summon the dude to show up in the middle of dungeons and all manner of dangerous places. You will have to excuse him for getting even every now and then.

Yes, the assistants go for a stroll and we must chase them, then the banker interface suddenly closes, then the banker interface suddenly is disabled but remain open and we risk to read a motif worth a ton or equip a ravager ring robust, ZOS don't care.
That's ZOS QA for a 5K Crowns product.

Just interact with the banker in your house(s), there he cannot walk away and you have all the time you want to do these kind of storage tasks. When out in the open he will move, if it takes you too long to do things - this is a feature, not a bug, I guess.

Also not so funny if in a dungeon and someone has their banker/merchant out and sometimes when you try to roll dodge you accidentally activate the merchant and yeah... get killed or hurt horribly lol.

I’m not gonna travel to one of my houses just to use the portable assistants - that defeats the whole purpose of having them. The thing that should happen is these assistants get fixed since we’ve paid a premium for them, and not allow things like this to go unnoticed or forgot about...

This. Please stop being a stinkweed about things that costt 5k crowns for CONVENIENCE - not so I can burn a WC chests on my lvl whatever char! DO NOTE ALSO: Some motifs do not have the crafting level limits!
