PS4 JUB BOXES = Nerfed?

opened about 40 this morning and I'm not getting anything close to what i was.

same with anybody else? other platforms?

I got Worm Legs motif, a handful of other motifs I already knew. 2 Master Writs, and 4 different surveys. Got a few Gold items(Kuta, Tempering Alloy, Rosin). PS4 NA

This was mostly the notable items I got from about 20 boxes.

welcome to RNG. I've opened well over 280 boxes now (I stopped counting days ago) and gotten only 1 Worm Cult motif. And I average 1 duplicate motif (anything other than WC) every 30 boxes. .....BTW ps4/NA

Another of these threads, really? You're in no position to say that anything's been nerfed based on such a small sample size.

TBH, I am enjoying all of the extra transmute stones from the boxes. Aside from barely getting any Worm Cult pages, I was flooded in some really nice Master Writs. Was able to turn those in and finally get my Ebony Motif book. I can't say I was disappointed at all. I love the Ebony Style.

If enough players notice a change then that is a much larger sample size, my RNG has been up and down but its always in batches of 4-5 boxes of good, then 50 boxes of bad

Orrrrrrr it could just be players flocking to the forums to complain the instant they have some bad luck? I got jack diddly from ~90 boxes the day before yesterday. Then yesterday, with the same amount of boxes, I got 2 Worm Cult motifs.

I have been a bit burnt out, so haven't been opening as many boxes, but it does seem like my rates have dropped a bit, from about 25% (about one in 4) chance for motif to 15% (just under one in 6).

I play on Xbox.

Plus he also didn't state anything had been nerf'd. Merely asked if it had. Got to love when folk jump down the throats of others because they have failed to read what was in front of them. Admit you were wrong, then move on. We've all done it.

I know I've made a good amount of gold on this event I've sold those worm cult motifs and made some good gold off them if they did nerf the boxes I would be okay with that but I don't believe they have

I've seen them go for around 150K~300k a piece. The Chest Motif the one being the highest.

Sure. But you came here and posted a thread with a reactionary title- "PS4 JUB BOXES = Nerfed?"- about a topic that has been discussed thoroughly before, with plenty of people patiently explaining why you should not jump to conclusions and exactly what RNG is.

Yea not as good as before, plus the motif prices dropped massively like half price they’re selling, so I’m cutting back half on the boxes I’m going to farm too, cos just not worth it like before.

Same here on PC as well opened 60 and only 1 motif

My recorded statistics (still only annecdotal, since small sample) tell me that I had a slightly increasing rate of motifs the entire time.

(Started around 9-11 motifs in 55 boxes, rose to 12-15 motifs in 55 boxes. Yesterday was only 10 motifs, but I had piles of furniture recipes)

Just started today's, so I've got no numbers yet.


edit: rare motif-wise, I've only gotten 8 WC (1 dupe) and 1 BA. 3 WC the first two days, long break, the rest scattered after that. BA a couple days ago

my results so far..... i'm including ba as well as wc....

1,0,2,5,1,2,0,2,0,2,1,3,1,0 .....from a minimum of 66 boxes per day.

looks pretty random to me.

Last night I got about 16 jubilee boxes and got worm cult helmets and bows, 2 other motifs (I remember one was yokudan something, but it was late, can't remember specifically which. I'll try to check in a bit), and a praxis for a clockwork control panel. I haven't been participating much due to recently moving and starting a new job, so those were the best round of boxes I've gotten so far, though I have also gotten worm cult shoulders and chests from days before.

Had one of my better days today; 2 WC (promptly set aside for sale) and a BA (sold). 2 Chests and one bow.

Also lots (like six or seven) house crafting bits.

Tomorrow? Well, who knows.

holy cow captain - that's a sweet haul...

this has been a fun/obsessive type event...i'm a few hundred boxes in, and, will probably open a couple hundred more...

it's gonna take me a week or so just to clear out all the crafting surveys I've collected...

also, doing those town dailies is blowing up my inventory with a whole bunch of stuff...

starting to look forward to going back to fighting in the alliance war, and leaving all this crafting and merchant work alone for a while...

just joined up with the purple gang last week...i may be hitting you up for some motif pricing advice later on...

it may be a while before I try to start moving all the motifs I've collected (particulary the worm cult and armiger stuff)...i've got a ton of other crap I need to move first...

pricing wise i'm not so great with the motifs...

actually - i'm probably not so great pricing my other stuff either...

I have too, averaging 1 in 3 till the 16th when the event was supposed to end. On my main my last 12 writs have been shite. Zero motifs or furnishing plans.

Got to say, its suspicious, especially since its happened to others too.

I was out of town Friday - Monday morning. The first box i opened when I got back had a WC and a Trini belt. After i still had decent RNG, but it seemed to taper off the more i opened.
