Usually it goes down like this:
Player 1: WTS (insert item)
Player 2: how much?
Player 1: make offer
Player 2: 50k
Player 1: nah

The Quakers, who found it immoral for different customers to pay different prices (now known as price discrimination) were an exception. In the 1870s, Quaker owned retailers in New York and Philadelphia began affixing physical tags to items, eliminating haggling.

Yes, yes it does. Or an argument about how the item is sold for "x amount in zone"... When you're selling in zone... Lol kinda hoping to help a few out and vent some frustration at the same time lmao

If I don't like their listed sale price, I just don't bother. If I'm selling, I'll accept my posted price or if I don't list a price, I have one in my head that I will take if offered.

This. I didn't grow up in 'haggling' culture. It's not part of my background or nature. You go in a store, look at the price on the shelf, and either pay it or not. This whole haggling thing just seems so...... ech.

I hate the "make offer" bit. I usually go super low on purpose to force them to tell me what's on their mind. He tells you with the 90k part. I think you did it perfectly myself.
If I were he, I woulda prob hit ya with 75k

Well, there either is a "price tag" - the price the person yelled out ("WTS Worm Cult Chests 60k"), or there's no price tag ("make an offer") in which case I'd never bother responding to them. Because there's no price tag.
(haven't really been to many flea markets in my life. If I did go, I'd just pay whatever the item was tagged with. That's why there's a price tag on it. /shrug)
