"The best looking" WEAPON motif

Hi guys i'm starting to get vain on all my toons, I just cant stop collecting motifs ever since outfit system came out.
Didn't really bother on weapon looks before but it got me now.
What weapon motifs can you suggest to fit with a theme?
Can you guys show me some themed sets? lol I'm so sorry.

Highly subjective. Trinimac, ra gada, ebony and covenant are always good choices

Too many variables here. The best motif to fit a theme is entirely dependent on what the theme is. There are great weapon styles, but they rely on personal taste and character styling. Barbaric, Skinchanger and Worm for example, won't work well on an Aedric Knight theme, but are perfect when aligned for those styles.

If your going ninja nightblade the Dreadhorn Sword is the shortest two hander and hangs well on a toons back.

Staves? Militant Ordinator.

Swords/Daggers? Ebony, Soul Shriven, Ebonshadow, Assassins League

Axes? Assassin is good here as well.

Maces? Outlaw.

Just my personal favourites.

Is what I use, I haven't bothered with outfits for all my alts.

Glass weapons are pretty snazzy, given you can dye them now. Especially if you miss Skyrim's glass gear.

Ebony is a similar situation.

I've liked Tier 3 Akaviri swords since I first finished the Fighter's Guild quest and got the reward item.

Bloodforge is pretty good for a "nord" style weapon.

BA is freakin' fantastic if you want the Morrowind Glass look.

Ironically, while easy to obtain, I used to swear by the Ancient Elf swords and daggers, and the daedric bows. They're fairly minimalistic, but very slick, and hold up pretty well today.

Ebonshadow 2H Axe looks like a pickaxe it's my go-to for when I'm using a 2h wep

One underrated weapon motif I love to plug is the low-level Primal 2H greatsword.


It's a huge cleaver with a counterweight on the end, completely unique in terms of weapon design in this game--and it flies under the radar because it used to only be available on level 26-24 or so gear. Outifitting makes it available again!

I believe you can look at all the motifs, even ones you don't have, in the Outfit Station.

(You just can't actually use them unless you've got it.)

I saw a guy last night with ebonshadow battle Axe. Far as 2H go it’s pretty sick. Looks like swinging a giant pick axe.

For staffs, I dig the one that looks like a giant globe on the end. Think it’s apostle?

For jokes, 1H Argonian 1 motif. Looks like a rock tied to the end of a stick.

I also like the Khajit 1 shield for jokes. It’s very very small.

I really like the Minotaur Daggers motif. Long, pointy and square.

All the alliance motifs are pretty sharp. Ebonheart may have the best looking shield though. AD has coolest looking helm.

Lots of good ones. It all depends on your particular character and personal opinion.

Bloodforge Swords, Akaviri Staves (all three), Asylum Staff, all Stalhrim weapons... these are some of my favorites.

This, check show locked and you can preview on character.
very nice if you want to see how things fit on your character with your combination of gear.

Also remember that you can wear any armor weight and low level gear.

Does a two handed Broom count?

There is a staff style I like, but it is not available it is Celestial from the V12 variant of the trials from back in the day. It has two serpents and a gem between them. (It was also shown in the crown store to buy the Celestial Style in the illustration )

Other than that is depends on playstyle, like I want my tank with a big shield, or a blunt bat to smack people with.

I like the worn look of many first-tier axes. Soul-shriven swords. Staves have too many good option.

I'd like to see a motif that gives a nice straight edge longsword or hand and half sword look. A regular sized blade and pommel for both single hand and greatsword. The nord single hand sword comes the closest the Brit swords the grip of the blade is just as big as the blade itself lol.

Ebony, Akavarii(first stage), Soul Shriven are nice curved single edged blades if you are looking for a Katana look or Drizzit styled sword.

Hollowjack daggers are gorgeous.

I'll have to confirm my bow, but I think I'm using Mercenary or Abah's Watch.

For staff, nothing yet because most staves are fugly.

It is really a matter of preference. Preview all the weapon styles and see which ones you like. I personally like hammers and it just happens that the Nord and Orc Styles have nice options.

My Altmer templar is rocking a very goth look at the moment and I love the Order of the Hour staff for that.
