Why does it snare? It does not say it in its tooltip. I never saw anyone cast blood altar in pvp, does that snare too?

Annoyed me for some time. Is it to make up for mag templar lack of mobility?

the passives sacred ground grants 15% snare with level 1 and 30% snare with level 2 for enemies inside your cleansing ritual or rune focus.

Yeah, well... As you hinted at, probably something to compensate for a lack of mobility, albeit a bad attempt at that...

Don't worry. You won't even noticed the snare. Especially not on a stam toon.

That might be true in sense. In reality casting a snare removal and immunity skill does not always remove the snare nor does it always grant the immunity. Which lead me to double cast a skill.

For players I think it is due to the lag, but on some npcs it is 100% chance it just does not work against them.

The snare immunity from FM and Rapids simply DOES NOT work against NPCs, whatsoever.
