transmute crystals - max number

is there a max number of transmute crystals you can have - have got to 200 during the event and now any that are in boxes are not being added but disappear

Yeah 200 is the max, go use 50 on an item so they can continue to accumulate and don't open any more boxes leave them in there

If you get to 200 just transmute something if you need to, if not use them to transmute something into nirnhoned just to deconstruct it for nirnhoned material. Keep some for just in case you need for later if you feel like it.

Storage for Tranmute Crystals should be 550 min. 50 crystals per item, enough to tranmute all 7pieces of armor and 4 weapons.

That goes against the idea of the Transmute crystals though. They are a back-up method for when you don't find the items you want in the right trait. It would be very unlucky if you farmed enough to get all pieces and none of them were in the right trait.

I have 200 maxed out right now and like 20 uncracked extra in the bag waiting to be opened. What do I do with them? Can I offer to sell a transmute service, or just toss them out? Can't really transmute to something you don't know so it feels like a waste.

I've started collecting uncracked geodes on my crafting character too. I saw Nixxiom streaming and noticed he was getting a collection of geodes as well.
