It is not effective, because you cant kill *** with that. Everyone i saw using it (especially together fight knightslayer) struggled to do decent damage in duels. And some of them just got bursted while the cooldown was ticking. But maybe its a console issue...

    You are entirely missing everything.

You can wear anything else in conjuction with the set.

I'v personally tested this setup and the only way I lose with this setup is if a stamblade gets a lucky incap on cooldown. No one else had enough burst. While the damage I deal out is all unmitgated damage going straight to health bars.

Its easy. Pathetically easy to win. I have no clue why you think the damage is low, Because it is insanely high even with 5 heavy. Its like you think no one uses a heavy armor build lmao

what i stated is from the PC EU server, where duelling is a very active content and good/best players normally gather at bergama wayshrine. and in the last half year everyone with meridias blessing set normally had no damage at all (also in combination with knightslayer) and the fights just dured several minutes and ended in a draw, because nobody was able to deal serious damage to the enemy. the only setup with which this works is in a werewolf setup, where the werewolf bleed in the is the deciding factor, But in any other form, a combo of meridias and knightslayer havent won a real duel in the last half year there.

Even if you do, you will be laughed out. It's generally courtesy to not play like an ***. No lingering, no immo, no earth gore, no misting and no permanent turtling.

Use it, and the enemy will play assholey and turtley themselves, or just forfeit. It's why it's an Xv1 set. Chances are you alone won't kill a good player with it alone, and non OW 1v1 it's very strong but counterintuitive.

meridias together with knightslayer is a bad combo. only one player i know is using it and he cant kill decent palyers with it, because the damage sucks and he also gets smashed in duels despite ignoring enemies half the times thx to meridias.

I'm honestly considering meridia's nowadays. It sounds like a fantastic back bar set for stamDk, from an utility perspective, It just helps my team without me doing anything special, and on 1v1 situations allows the user to drop the block for a regen tick+easy heavy attack for sustain.
