I'm quite low and in Auridon but i really like my characters looks how does someone in this game change classes etc i've looked around but cannot find it.. I'm currently a Stam warden but honestly i hate it very boring skills and lackluster damage etc (really glad i didn't pick magwarden looking at those nerfs people are all complaining about though)..

Just wondering how on earth we change classes in this game, i'd think it would be easy but nope?

You have to start a new character to change class.

In every alliance capital there is a respec area for stats/skills.

Brace yourself. You cannot change classes. You'd have to start a new character.

You can't change class. You can respec skills, morphs, and attributes and champion points.

To change those, you'll need to go to a capital city, Elden Root, Grahtwood is probably easiest. There will be several shrines to various deities where you can respec for varying amounts of gold.

It sounds like you’re talking about re-specializing your character. Not changing your class.

Changing skill point allocation costs gold. If you’re still low level and haven’t got many skill points yet - don’t worry about re-speccing your character. Just farm more skill points and tinker with the different skill lines. At level 50 you will get a free re-specialization scroll.

Oh, I know what you mean. I spend ages getting my character to look just right.

But I've learned my lesson, once I've got her looking the way I like, I take screenshots of all the slider positions so that I can recreate her again whenever I want to.

So that's my suggestion, try to recreate your character's look as best you can, then take some screenshots this time.

    Good luck.

The OP mentions that the skills in general for Warden are boring, which leads to the assumption they really do mean changing classes to access the other class skills.

And as everyone else said there is no way to change a Character's class, no crown store token exists for that. You can change appearance, gender, name, and Race, but not Class.

Scorch is like the best warden attack skill imo.. If you really dislike it that much and want to play warden don't slot it and use something else from a weapon skill line.
Dive is easier to replace with a weapon skill spammable instead. If magicka you have "force shock" if stamina dw you have "flurry " if 2h you have "uppercut".

As a lowbie, you shouldn't be following any End-game guides like that of Alcast or Woeler until you get to at least CP 160. You should just play the game tbh and not think about end-game builds until you're actually at end-game.

That build from alcast is just fine. He offers plenty of choices to adjust things to what you like. You mention the skill scorch, so that sounds like you haven't yet morphed the skill. That skill uses magicka untill it gets to level 4 where you can choose to morph it into a stamina skill. It will function in the same way but it will be much stronger for the build that you linked.

As a level 40 warden Scorch is a bad ass skill. I'm running a destructive frost setup and when i hit scorch the numbers just roll up the screen.

I kill stuff fast never die I could be playing the class completely wrong but right now its working and a ton of fun.

I do believe they sell class change tokens in the Crown Store, they are kind of expensive (around 1,500 I think) but if you really want to keep your character and you're willing to spend a little $, then that could fix your problem.

    They do not.

OP, you may want to start a couple of extra characters and try out different classes to decide which one you want to play.

You can even make them all look the same if you like the look of your character. :-)

Visit the shrines in the captial cities & pay your gold, for either stats or skills change

Crown store sells, Name, Race and appearance, stats and skill change items (iirc)

you will get a stats & skill change scroll late in levelling

If you really care about your character looks as much as me, before you finalise it, take screenshots of all the sliders. That way if you don't like the class u pick you can start over no problem. @DanteYoda

I even spent crowns on the customization token just to get at my sliders before :) and you don't consume it that way. Just get them and cancel. You then keep it for later if you ever actually want a change.

One suggestion, get all the sky shards that are available in each area.

Also get the addon that shows you where all the shards in each area are.

Every 3 shards you find gives you one extra point. And they do add up.

When I get to a new area, first thing I do is go around and get all the shards. Then when you need points to assign to passive or active skills, you have the extra ones which helps your character tremendously.

    Good luck.
