Feels like the chance of motif dropping are lowered considerably. I have talked with several people and they also think the same. It's nowhere close as it used to be prior today. What do you guys think? If so...why isn't there no announcement about that?

I’ve only opened about 60 boxes today but have noticed no change.

I guess I'm sucking up all the "luck". First out of the gate? BA chest and WC legs along with other motifs and housing stuff.

ETA: It went sorta downhill from there aside from a couple blue housing items, only a fortified nirncrux, 2 dreugh wax and transmute crystals...I think 3. But I'm good because there is literally nothing I cannot use.

I feel the same, but I had the feeling that it has been worse for a few days already. But yes, today there was one single motif drop for me.

No difference for me. Even got a WC motif, my first since the 1st day of the event.

Yeah I did dailies on two characters and got no motifs at all, odd but probably just RNG not liking me today.

I opened a about 70 boxes last night (after the announcement to extend, but before today's maintenance), and it was certainly my worst batch so far. Obviously could be RNG, but if you told me they toned them down following the extension, I would not be surprised in the slightest. I dont know that they need maintenance to adjust that sort of thing or not.

Me and my gf did as much dailies as the other days and had considerably fewer motifs. But a lot more patterns. Hm.....

12 motifs, a bit above average.

(worst I've gotten is 9 out of 55; best 14 out of 58)

edit: and I got 4 furniture patterns, matching my low (I've gotten 4-8 previous days. Mostly 5. None of them purple)

I went from a 32% drop rate, to 20-25% for a few days, then to 15-20% for a few days. Then yesterday 11% and today 9%. So the only thing that is dropping is the drop rate. Its actually almost to the point were its to boring to mess with as all i get is mats that i could farm 10 times more of in the time it takes me to do quests.

I've had roughly a 20+% drop rate the entire time, with it slowly rising (the last four days have been 14, 12, 15, 12; vs 9-11 the first days)


It's RNG.

I wouldn't notice. My drops have been truly awful so a nerf'd drop rate would actually be an improvement for me.

The only measurable difference I've seen that I would attribute to something other than pure RNG is the first few boxes you open with an account. Without fail, all six of my accounts have gotten Worm Cult drops within the first few drops. I could be getting extraordinarily lucky, but I suspect they weight the first couple boxes to encourage people to continue to participate. Which is fine, honestly.

Given I have already only received worm cult bits from my drops total through the entire event and an *** load of other trash motifs whilst people have gotten so many worm bits, I'd say RNG is just doing it's rounds.

14 accounts and we'd be sorted. yeah, that's when i received my WC ones too.

I honestly felt the same way (zero today), though there’s no way to prove it as I wasn’t logging them before—though I was getting 2-5 on six toons.

Been doing around 18-24 boxes a day since the start. Only got 2 worm cult motif pages. Have a TON of other motifs and designs plus a few Perfect Roe and some Nirncrux. I'm kinda disappointed because the worm cult was the main motif that's supposed to drop, but doesn't.

RNG is RNG guys. You can't say something like "I got drops yesterday, and I didn't today, so that must mean the drop rate has gotten worse." For one thing... your sample size is way too tiny for you to say such a thing. For another, it's just RNG.

Got 2 BA motifs so far, and each time I get one, the next day 60 daily boxes yield no goodie

This morning was great for me. I did six writs before work. I got four motif pages, including a WC I didn't have and BA legs in the same box. I got two new blue recipes and master writs for both blacksmithing and wood working. I got two surveys and a twenty spot of corn flower.

Overall, I only get motif pages on about half of my characters. They seem to come in streaks. It has been different characters that get them every day.

I have opened around six hundred boxes now. I have nine different chapters from twelve WC pages. I have made almost twice as much gold as I average and have been having problems with storage for the first time in a long time.

It has been a good event for me. Not many CP but that is how I decided to play this one.

People saying " Its just RNG" for literally everything is as annoying as people saying " Its just god's will" every time something happens in life. While i have no doubt that its RNG, i believe there are other factors at work as well.

I see no difference, got 1 WC motif today and some others, a few blueprints a potent nirncrux, its rng and my high crafters doesnt get better items then my lower ones.

My best day was the first, drops with motifs were at roughly 25%. Worst day was the second when drops for me were closer to 10-15%. Since then, I've hovered around 20% plus, and today was no exception...
