How to fix weapon drops / BoP

I think that we are in a good spot right now, with the droprates on all armor and the ability to transmute. I do however still feel like it can be impossible to get a weapon drop. I am currently on run 30+ of Fang Lair, without anyone in group (yes, i spy) getting a Caluurion 1H. No swords, no axes, no daggers, no maces.
My suggestion to fixing this is simple. Do like IC dungeons. Give ALL dungeons, one or more chests at the beginning of the dungeon, that can be opened for set items. Preferably with somehow to focus on weapons. Instead of making up new tokens, just use undaunted keys.
This would give new value to undajnted keys, and actually make me go do them again, if they could help me secure my weapon for Dungeon X
