When I look at my recap and see 7890 fall damage I am pretty sure that the other *** did not kill me.

Fall damage is stupid. I can take 5 dizzying swings with a massive mace to my face, but fall 20ft and I am rip. But slide along a rock, and its all good.

Yeah it is, I jump off cliffs all the time and take very little damage, you really got to take a leap of something big to die. I've played other games where jumping off the second story of a small building would often kill you.

What I would like to see is a reduction in fall damage for those that use the DK or Warden wings while falling...say 25%...just because it would match the animation. I am sure Bosmer DKs would find a way to abuse it, but it would still feel right.

Ahhh, for the days of Morrowind (the game, not the expansion) when you could enchant a piece of gear with a crafted spell that would let you slowfall/jump across the continent without fall damage.

Those were the days.

fall damage should not happen.

and IF i do receive fall damage because of an attack from an enemy skill, then it should be replaced with equal amount of healing to ME, and equal amount of damage from that fall damage goes RIGHT BACK to the person whom caused that fall damage to happen.

is how this should be handled.

There is almost no penalty for death outside of Cyrodiil so I don't see much of a reason for fall damage to be as it is. Sometimes it's quicker (wrothgar comes to mind) to die on purpose jumping over a cliff than to go around it. Would be nice if it was removed everywhere but Cyrodiil, and maybe dungeon/raid instances.
