I've decided that between all the dupe motifs from anniversary boxes and gear received from the cyro town dailies i'm going to need to join another "prime" spot trading guild...

I had just recently gotten a handle on my home/bank/character inventories...this event is taxing my inventory space and organization...

there are actually a couple of motifs I'd like to complete (apostle and hlaalu), for the most part though - i'm approaching this anniversary event as an opportunity to make gold...which, is something I normally don't pursue...

I'll probably hold the more valuable pieces for a few months and "dump" everything else...

i get there are different reasons for wanting to collect the worm cult pages (rp, writ, gold) - but, not really my cup of tea style wise...

and, big thanks as always to the folks at eso fashion - another integral support site for eso...

Yes, after 2 days of nothing, I decided to just bite the bullet and buy the rest. It was slightly painful for some of them, but it seems like the prices weren't going down much anyway as the event nears its end.

Around 90 dailies a day, last 4 days no WC drops, so i buyed my last 6 missing pages, i wanted to wait until the last day of the event before buying the missing parts, but prices are increasing fast, still got a few double parts for selling at a later time.

But i got 2 BA parts today

Yeah...I'd be pretty happy at this point to get some BA motifs to sell. I have gotten 6 WC pages now, with 2 dupes, but that's from opening 55 boxes every day (double the first day), though I haven't yet done yesterday's crafting writs. I got 5 the first day (out of 110 boxes) and then nothing for almost 200 boxes, then got three yesterday (one was another dupe). I'm hopeful for another couple before the event ends, and then I'll buy the rest.

Since I'm 100% on motifs (well, before WC), I've been giving all pages to my husband, who doesn't play much on XB. He's been sending back the ones he already has, so I've still got about a dozen right now to sell, with undoubtedly more from future boxes and the ones he'll send back to me. I'm waiting until after the event to sell, when prices settle a bit, though if I got any BA motifs, I'd probably list them now.

ETA: This event has given me a nice number of transmute crystals. I don't PvE or PvP, so I didn't have any when the event started, but I'm already up to 113!

PC/NA - I was paying an average of about 65k gold per motif, I guess. The lowest prices I found were in the 40k range, with the highest around 100k.

I just colored my set pink. (ironweed violet and white color)

Looks very anti-worm cult set now.

That sound about right for PC/NA on Saturday. I paid around 100K for chests and 40-70K for the rest. I had gold to spare so I didn't need to hunt for the best deals, so I know I overpaid on a few motifs.

I havent pulled the trigger on any purchases, but I have scanned traders a couple times for the few I am still missing. These ranges are pretty spot on. Chests still go for close to 100, helms and legs are in the 70-80s, the rest of the armor and most weapons are in the 60s, some of the less desirable weapons are in the 40-50s. I expect a steady decline on prices until about the weekend, then everyone is gong to start buying up what they are missing or buying to hoard. Wonder what these will be worth in 6 months. Probably depends on how fast they hit they crownstore. haha.

I don't want to knock the work the guys at ESO Fashion do (I use that site a lot) but the outfit system has made it possible to preview weapon and armour skins inside the game, even ones you don't own yet.

I find that extremely useful, it's probably one of my favourite parts of the outfit system because instead of switching between other people's screenshots and trying to imagine what the skins I think I'd like would look like together on my character I can actually put them on my character together, rotate them and see a very limited range of motion (basically going into the combat pose).

That enabled me to preview the Worm Cult Stave I got a motif for and realise I'm unlikely to ever use it and would rather max out my crafters bags faster. So I sold it.

this is why im glad I have six alts to run writs on. I get 36 offers daily JUST form writs. I have stockpiled probbably 3/4 million gold worth of motifs. Getting 2-3 wyrm cult a day.

Doing writs on 12 of my Characters, by the end im so damn bored I log out. I only do a few now. I dont care about motifs anymore. I gave away some nice ones I didnt know to close friends.

Yes, this is about right. I saw people gouging legs, helms and chests for 140k+ but I put a hard limit of 100k on my purchases. I'll admit I didn't shop around too frugally as the scarcity of the items didn't seem to decrease and we only had about 5 days left for the event. Then I got home that night and another week was added on

Oh well, I can sell the extras I get from here on out, so I'm gtg.
