Crystals and Event boxes

Sorry if it has been asked already..

What happens if you have 200/200 crystals and you loot a event box that has crystals in it? It still says 200/200 but the crystals and the event box disappears.

I'd agree with you, but not everyone hoards an insane amount of gear and more importantly, they're easy to get. There are only so much items you want to change. I've ran out of stuff to transmute and only transmute for the sake of not losing crystals any more. won't ever even wear some of the gear I've changed, but it's better than losing them.

Oh they said it was a bug? I figured it would just stay in the box and in your inventory. At least thats what I am doing for now.

Oh they said it was a bug? I figured it would just stay in the box and in your inventory. At least thats what I am doing for now.

It's a bug because they aren't acting the same as geonodes. I assume that what prevents them from getting used is the container and new one the present boxes don't have that.

It's a bug because they aren't acting the same as geonodes. I assume that what prevents them from getting used is the container and new one the present boxes don't have that.

If he has auto-loot on, opening the container will "take out" all the items including the crystals. If he's already at the limit, they have been given to Sithis.

How can you not? What's the alternative, if you have sorted your gear they stack up fast, with 2-300 landing each campaign end and all the ones in between.

Unlike other containers (which will remain, give you a UI notification, and prevent removal of the contents), they simply go away.

I've bug reported this (online and on forums), but more wouldn't hurt.

That's really a shame they just disappear. If it only took 10 or so to transmute an item, it'd be one thing, but the current cap of 200 only allows 4 transmutes.

Since they drop like candy and take up a drop slot, the cap really should be higher (like 500 or so) so they don't just get gifted to Sithis.

I get a LOT of crystals because I have all my gear - it's hoard crystals or hoard the orbs. I transmute cheap weps to Nirnhoned and Decon.
