Furniture: missing plans

In the past several months I have noticed a frustrating problem with furnishing plans. Once I have learned a plan several months later it says no, you have not learned it. Four plans come to mind.

Breton Pew, knotwork
High Elf Sconce, winged
High Elf Divider, delicate
Cured meat

I actually have several of the High Elf sconces in my Mathiisen Manor and the various cured meats scattered throughout my houses. There are other plans I have learned, but cannot now recall. Any thoughts?

So far, I haven't discovered any "unlearned" Homestead Furnishing "recipes" for any of my characters. However, each has learned so many now that I suppose it is only a matter of time before I discover the same problem as you report.

According to several long-time players with whom I've been acquainted, ZOS/Bethesda has always had problems maintaining the integrity of their records for player characters. The continual flow of reports in this forum section about erroneous data, such as yours, are only a fraction of the incidents. For example, players disclose them to their buddies in Chat and discuss them, whether they report them to ZOS. In my experience, since Tamriel One, any that I have reported via in-game /bug > Feedback are never acknowledged by the ZOS staff.

Speaking strictly for me, to list a few:
    • Achievements have been darkened after being recorded, although the gear Dyes for them remained unlocked. Some Achievements can be "renewed" by repeating the requisite sub-achievements to "renew" them, too. But the Achievement cannot be renewed if doing so requires completing one or more Quests which cannot be repeated -- unless the character's completion of the required Quest(s) is also no longer recorded.
      • This particular data corruption is significant since, among other things, the wise designers decided that whether a character can pay Gold Pieces to purchase certain, specific Homesteads also requires a corresponding Achievement by that character. If the player's character has already met the requirements for that Achievement, but it is no longer recorded, then it is unlikely that the player can replay the game to satisfy the requirements for the Achievement. Of course, if the player is willing to spend Crowns to buy the Homestead, then ZOS doesn't care whether their characters have ever achieved anything.
    • Several Crafting Style Motifs which my characters learned have subsequently been shown by the Journal > Library UI as not yet learned. For a few of those, a weapon or piece of armor corresponding to the now "not learned" Motif was actually created, but cannot be made now that the record is corrupt. Since almost always a lot of time and effort was spent either (1) to acquire the Motif directly in the course or play, or (2) to acquire the Gold Pieces with which my character bought the Motif, to have a Motif which my character learned to subsequently become "not yet learned" is very, very demoralizing.
    • Lorebooks that my characters read and were shown as read by the Journal > Library UI, have been subsequently listed as unread. When the character returns to the location of the Lorebook, if it is still there, then ordinarily the software will not display an Interactive Prompt to enable the character to read it. The lack of an Interactive Prompt implies that the character did read it (which fact is probably still recorded somewhere), regardless of the current Journal > Library UI output listing.
      • Many such Lorebooks cannot be read "again" because they were only available during a quest which the character completed (and cannot repeat), and/or their location is inaccessible after the quest is completed. For a few of them, ZOS has since made the Lorebooks available during a specific quest subsequently available at some location in the area in which the quest was enacted. But the number of remaining inaccessible Lorebooks is rather large.
      • From time-to-time, the character which I'm playing finds a Lorebook that the character has not read, but for which the software will not display an Interactive Prompt. Although I've reported most of these to ZOS, there has been only one such Lorebook that I've subsequently seen again, for which that error was corrected. That incident occurred about 2 years and 6 months ago, and no other correction for a missing Interactive Prompt for a Lorebook has been made -- i.e., one of which I've been apprised -- since.
    • Gold Pieces have disappeared from the bags of one of my characters, and from the Bank account, too. Sometimes Gold Pieces detached from e-mail messages are not added to the total currently carried by the character which I'm playing when I access the Mail UI. The Customer Support staff has either ignored my report, or investigated and concluded that I am correct, but that they cannot -- or will not -- restore the missing Gold Pieces.
Note: all of the above have occurred while I play on the PC/Mac NA megaserver. Each specific flaw or error is not necessarily duplicated on any of the other megaservers -- for each of which, apparently, there are both some similar problems and other flaws and errors which are unique to the particular megaserver.

I play on the PS4 Na server. Best I can hope is a ZOS agent to comment. It really only came to my full-time consciousness after stealing the High Elf Sconce, Winged the second time. 'Til then it had only been a suspicion. I have several I crafted in one of my houses. The delicate High Elf divider cost me 165k. I can't be buying these plans multiple times.
