Can anyone recommend a good sorc build for leveling on up?

Just getting into things and I've found builds but alot don't really address the early goings, anyone able to give me a quick build or two or what to focus on early that will let me enjoy the content while solo?

How are sorcs end game currently? Are they in a decent spot overall?

Magsorc is ezpz to level up. Liquid lightning, blockade of storms, lightning staff heavy attack kills most things quickly.

Issue I'm having is just getting started for anything on Pc. I had a char on ps4 way back which had gold and stuff, starting with nothing is sucking hah I can't seem to find a decent staff to get me trucking early on

just craft a lightning staff to get started, a better one will drop eventually.
start researching as soon as you can on gear you want to wear and you can craft sets in short order

This, with Clannfear until you get Matriarch then Volatile Familiar all the way to 50. Grab your shield buff on the way while you enjoy the free ride.

If you can find someone to craft you blue xp set get lvl 4, 20,30,40 done. You can space it out more if you want less sets crafted. Seducer/Magnus is my preferred 5/1/1 cloth choice since the trait reqs are low to craft.

Magsorc pretty easy to level with clannfear, shards, liquid lightning and a lightning or fire staff. If you want quick dungeons, back bar resto staff. The non DLC normal dungeons are pretty easy to heal even in crappy gear.

I mean, levelling up in general is pretty easy, so go with what looks appealing to you and try different things out. The recommended builds in the skills advisor actually aren't that bad. If you want to try a stam-based sorc instead of magicka, use flurry from the DW tree as your spammable to start off. Things will really kick off once you get crit surge/hurricane, you'll basically stop having to worry about ever dying.
