Hi I have been trying to log on for the last 4 hours. I Have now tried to repair my game for the 5th time. It wont repair at all. it will verify and then fail to initiate repairs

    My computer crashed during the initial patch update, this has happened only during game play before. When it happens my computer goes into re-start mode.
    Will I have to re-install the game?
    Will I lose my Morrowind upgrade?
    Will I lose all of my characters?

    I have 502 hours of play into those characters. I would really hate it if I lost them.

    Try to start your game trough eso64.exe. Worked for me.

    Sounds like your download just got simply screwed because your PC crashed during installation. Run repairs, if that doesnt work then re-install. And no, you are not losing any progress so don't worry about that.

    Can confirm, have been kicked about 15 times today. Sometimes cant make it past the login screen. Sometimes I get past char select and then get kicked. A few times after 15 mins being in the game I get kicked back to login.

    I cannot log in to PC NA since the patch. I am in Holland, but play only on the NA server.

    I have used the eso64 file to log in ever since I got my new computer with Windows 10, because the regular launcher does not work for me. Trying to Repair, does not work, it only makes the Launcher exceedingly slow and does not solve the problem.

    Now just opening the new eso64 file that was put in the client map with this latest patch gives me an instant crash reporter screen with the message that ESO quit unexpectedly. I do not even get a chance to log in.

    Tonight I patched ESO on my old computer that uses Windows 7, and it will update and play from the regular launcher, but after using a new computer it is unbearably slow.

    You wont lose your characters, those are part of your account. So even if you were to reinstall the entire game you would still have all of your characters :)

    Ughh.. is it going to be like that now? We'll have to reinstall the whole game whenever new patches comes out

    I dread to think what comes with summerset...
    PC/NA

    - Breton SorcMag dps [She's got an identity crisis, but I believe in her.]
    - Dunmer Templar dps/healer [she's a healer, then again she likes inferno staff too...]

    same problems here ... update ran ... said something about manifest not correct and try again? try update again? how? so I try to bring up game and get ERROR 108 (7:5:315:0) ... I read all the stuff at support and try renaming the ProgramData file in the Launcher folder to ProgramDataBackup ... then I relaunched and tried to login and at character select got ERROR 200 (7:14:178:597) ... I read what was in the patch ... all this trouble people are having for that little piddly patch???? couldn't just leave the maintenance alone until the anniversary event is over?

    ZOS does it yet again. Yes sir a four hour maintenance to fix very little that caused major issues. I could login but when I got to Cyrodiil had bar swap issues, movement delays and even the wrong weapon showing up on my skill bars when I finally could swap.

    OP's launcher crashed during the update. That almost always corrupts the game files. It's nothing new.
