Yep, i'm using gamepad (Xbox One Controller) and am getting issues as well
Anytime I open the map in a party, I get something. Crafting stations, I get one. Sitting at cp menu, I get one. If I get one then don't move for a minute, I get another one. I have played for 4 days and have had no issue. But once it started it hasn't stopped.
Edit. I see you're using Xbox controller. I use DS4 with DS4 windows. So it must be the mode and not the controller.
If you are receiving a UI error, this typically means that there is either an issue with an Add-On, an Add-On preference file, or possibly a Saved Variable file. This could be due to data that is left behind even after the add-on is disabled, so you should set as many preferences back to defaults as you can.
Please follow these steps, in this specific order:
Exit the game
Navigate to C:\Users\<username>\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live in Windows Explorer
Rename Addons to Addons.old
Rename SavedVariables to SavedVariables.old
Check in-game to see if the issue persist.
If you are no longer getting UI errors: The issue is related to add-ons, so try re-enabling your preferred add-ons one-by-one in order to determine which is causing the problem.
If you are still getting UI errors: Open the game and go to the settings menu [Esc]. Go to each subsection, Social, Gameplay, etc. and reset all settings to defaults. Next, go to Chat Options (the gear icon in the upper right corner of the chat window) and reset that to defaults.
Ok I disabled the addons that were outdated, then found that 2 of my addons also needed updates through Minion. After I updated those two the errors went away.
I'm having the exact same problem, and I know it is addons. However, it's more than one addon and the way they interact with the UI. I know Combat Cloud, Awesome Guild Store, and Bandits UI all cause the same UI errors, but with different content in the description field.
