Is there any way to track my ESO character out of game?

I was inactive for a long time in ESO because i cant launch it after the thieve's guild update and one of my friends who was also inactive for a less time could not find his characters after returning back and logging in from same account on same server, now even if i ask him to login from my acc to check if my character is gone too he cant because ESO on Steam has been fully merged and i would have to give my Steam acc for him to log and thats impossible. So is there any 3rd party method to verify if my character even exists anymore? In almost every big mmo you can officialy see your character in an online armory but here i can't find any way to do that which is strange. Its currently the last barrier that keeps me from preordering summerset.

Your character surely exists. My beta account did for two years after the fact.

You shouldn't be giving your account to others to log into even if it's not on Steam. It's actually against their Terms of Service (and to protect your account).

There isn't an official site which tracks characters for ESO. The best way you could confirm is to check with ZOS via a support ticket.
