Zos, whats the deal with DW? PvP

At the moment DW is used by magika classes that want boosted Spell Dmg from swords and an extra gear piece in PvP.
Stamina classes use DW because of the extra gear piece + the bleed effect from Axes.


Now that you have made 2h weapons count as two gear pieces, what will you give to DW, the weapon skill line that is used only for improved stats?

and for PvE
also dual wield has the advantage of giving you two weapon traits and two enchantements (already one nirnhoned weapon buffs your damage almost the same as nirnhoned on staves and bows).
maybe they include snare resistance to one of the skills from dual wield, which would make them more viable.
or they decrease the base damage of 2h

Dw is also used dot its skills. Like bleade cloack and rendering slashes. It you were using it just for the bonus piece, it's fair to pass to your "naturale weapon".

IMO DW doesn't need anything, it will still be the better choice for many specs in PvP, and I don't see any reason (yet) that the PvE DW/bow meta will be disrupted.

So Magic characters specifically can benefit from what DW gives Stam. I'm looking forward to my Sorc not having to sacrifice a set piece anymore.
