Something is bothewring me with this one. she is a stage 1 vampire at the moment picture was taken.

What i am thinking of, is that she has a too narrow jaw and too wide cheekbones at least.. But am i correct? The cheeks look odd and no matter how i tune it, i cant make her right :/

Please advice!

She's got a little pig nose. I like it when the bridge of the nose is very straight and not curved. And her cheeks are a little too thin, yes.

When you're on the face triangle, don't even look at where its at, just move around slowly in a circle while staring at her face.

You mean the jaw slider by saying too thin cheeks i assume?

I kinda agree with the nose, i was trying to make a litle cute nose, but managed to do miss piggy nose instead but i kinda like it too D

The eyebrows are an issue for all my characters, ESO eyebrows are bad quality and either the are too pointy or too thick like a gro magnon man :/

I wish there would be good selection of thin eyebrows with sliders to customise the pointyness by ourselves.. Like inner and outer eyebrow angle and general angle.. I dount many are using the skew feature there is.

I'd lower the eyes a little and bring them closer together a bit if you can. Maybe go a little softer on the face, thin the eyebrows and make the cheek bones less pronounced, maybe widen the jaw or cheeks a little. The eyes are the part that stand out the most to me as off putting when I look at her.

Failing that randomise till something you like pops up that you can tweak.

I was just wondering about the cheekbones..

I was allready at pretty low setting compasred to my other characters.. Took them3 clicks to the left so since Dunmer seem to have very pronounced cheekbones by default, i could actually go full left and then the cheeks look like my other characters though that not normal for Duhnmer i guess..

      WEbsHPQ.jpg

      aZlABgG.jpg

In these, the cheekbones are made to full left so they are as narrow as possible, eyes full left too. Jawbone has been increased couple of clicks so its just one click more narrow that the original default.

Also, the triangle went a bit from soft to heroic.

The eyebrows are lost cause though, those are only ones that are angled the way i like, the others just look way too pointy for my taste.

Personally I think she looks great, and even better with the red lipstick! Dunmers already have very angular and striking features, which the vampire morph emphasises even more.

But here are a few things I think would help, if you want a more soft look to her:

      - Try making her face more in the "Soft" area of the triangle. The features will become a bit more rounded and smooth, which may even out the slightly hard look she has now.
      - Raise the eyebrows as much as possible, maybe even lower the eyes and make them bigger, to make her eyes more open and less serious. I think the eyebrows are fine, but maybe consider a pair that are less curved and more angled, to open up her eyes even more.
      - Consider making her jaw a bit wider, to give a better balance to everything that's going on on the top part of her face (striking red eyes, jewelry, hard Dunmer brow, etc).

Ooooh I really like her profile (from the side) - very feminine. And she has a more calm expression on her face now ^^ And I agree, you shouldn't "remove" too many of the features that make her Dunmer - she doesn't need to be a porcelain doll

This topic is inspiring me to change my own char - I bought a token on sale a while back, but haven't gotten round to using it

I got couple of those tokens back then too :)

Other i will be just saving, so i can look at other characters features when i do a new one or to copy settings on reroll.. Too bad i forgot to do that on next reroll :dizzy:
Anyway, i allready used the other for this appearance, thankfully she looked even better on gameworld even though she looks a bit worse now in character select but the world lightning is the most important so i dont care that much of the character select screen (:

Thanks for compliments by the way <3

I wonder though, how she looks when shes not a vampire, but i guess thats not an issues since shes all designed for being a vampire :D

Yeah, the select screen and character creation have always been "deceiving". Can't tell you how many times (before tokens) I deleted and remade my characters after seeing them in real world and being horrified at the result!!

Glad I could help, even if just a little - I know how important it is to feel comfortable with your character ^^

I bet she'll look a bit more exotic if she one day gets rid of her vampirism - as she'll have her Dunmer eyes back. But other than that, I think she'll still look gorgeous

the character change screens and creation scenes have deceptive lighting- like a shopping centre- they make u look better than you are!!!
i like the progress youve made though. id only suggest- adding a bit of assymetry to the brow and lips, adds character as does playing with the lip frown/smile . high elves are hard to make look proportional- though, id say bringing the jaw in to make it less jutting, also making the lips a bit more full so the face doesnt seem as long, widening the chin a touch maybe lowering th eyes. ive found for elves- staying away from the angular- heroic and more towards the soft is best- but i see youve done that.

I don't find the recent versions of your character an issue personally, other than I would go for less slanted eyes, just a personal preference.

Here is mine, it took me a long time (many weeks) to come to grips with her stage 4 vampirism even with the oracle eyes but once I went with this hairstyle and the primal(?) armor look along with the Telvanni personality, I liked it enough to finish levelling her up.

The eyes less slanted bring the cheek bones fatter slightly and make the chin less pointed she will look great then, the red looks nice try black lipstick option at the end as well.

I always do the changes without hair distracting, then add it back when finishing the character. i find it easier to see all the shapes and features, when there is no good looking hair distracting me. Then again lipstick is another thing, its best used when changing appearance as it makes the shape of lips more apparent than when using none. With loght lip colors, one often makes lips too full and ends up with overinflated lips when using dramatic lips colors :)

That hairstyle will be her deault hairstyle. The Orsinium ponytail will be the "battle hair".

      @VexingArcanist

I like her style. Very Dunmerish and the dramatic features makes her very characteristic to be unique.

      @MakoFore

They do indeed, and now would be a good tim to make threads about the issues of character creation/appearance change as they have been here since the beta.

I actually made my own version about it recently and gave few sggestions too. I have concluded, that most problems on character creation come from it trying to be too immersive while its main purpose is to be as good a creation tool as possible. Though i admit, that at the same time it needs to have some decent "decorations" so its not too boring and not too eyestraining experience when one sculpts the character for hours ;)

Dont get me wrong, im real immersoholist, but i just think that its place is inside the game where the created character will live and do his/her daily chores and duties.
