Bloodthorn as mentioned. BR used to be like that, with cool and balanced mag/stam recoveries, but its RIP now.

magicka nightblades surely are a class with good aspects regarding this set. especially the set doesnt need to be on both bars, thats what makes it super strong. but outside of fights, there is no effect and if you never block and you slot the set to be active all the time, amberplasm will be a bit better.

Yes, you can replace the Amber Plasm in that build with Bloodthorn with good results. Amber Plasm is somewhat better (due to the spell crit bonus and the fact that the 250 recovery can be increased by any % bonuses that you have) but Bloodthorn is a great substitute until you get it.

During combat you should be getting slightly more overall magicka sustain than with amberplasm (BT has one mag recovery bonus compared to spell critical from amber).
