Why is 21,000 for $150 listed as "Best Value"

Not in Europe, here you get 14,000 for €84,99 and 21,000 for €124,99 thus a little bit, a TINY little bit cheaper when you take the 21,000

In the UK the best value crown pack on PS4 EU server is the 5500 pack... everything else and you are are throwing money away...

...but still, its really time we got a crown store sale... it surely must be round the corner

It does depend on which currency you're using to buy them, and where you're buying them as I believe prices vary slightly between the ZOS website, Steam and the console stores.

Here's the prices for buying direct from ZOS in the UK (tax is included in the prices shown here):

• 750: £5.99 - 79.9p per 100 crowns
• 1500: £10.99 - 73.3p per 100 crowns
• 3000: £18.99 - 63.3p per 100 crowns
• 5,500: £29.99 - 54.5p per 100 crowns
• 14000: £74.99 - 53.5p per 100 crowns
• 21000: £109.99 - 52.4p per 100 crowns

So the price drops by quite a bit as you go up through the first 4 packs and then very slightly (about 1 penny per 100 crowns) for the larger packs. If I remember correctly when the larger packs were first released they were actually more expensive per crown than the 5,500 pack, but that was corrected by increasing the price of the smaller ones (it used to be £24.99 for 5,500).

And incidentally if you're planning to buy 1,500 crowns you're actually better off getting a 30 day subscription because that still costs £8.99 - the old price from before the increase.

(And the best deal is to buy a 6 month subscription for £6.99 a month, or £41.94 total. That gets you 9,000 crowns at a price of 46.6p per 100 crowns. Or to wait until they're on sale.)
