This is in relation to the announcement made here

I am curious to what the current "Ownership" situation is...

Edit: was going to add more options, messed it up though. So if you dont have Morrowind and never get ESO plus go with the last option, i guess.

I'm new to ESO but not MMORPGs.
Been playing less than 2 weeks.
I am a ESO+ member and I do own Morrowind because it came with the pre-order of Summerset.

I do not care if someone else bought it at full price...
I do not care that it is now available for crowns and as a ESO+ perk.

I like this game and have no issue supporting it with cash on a monthly basis.

Got MW with the Summerset pre-order a couple weeks ago.

edit: given that the forums are generally filled with the most active/etc players, I'd assume that "own MW and have ESO+" will be the biggest result. But likely won't represent the overall playerbase well.

I've had ESO+ for nearly two years straight and I own the physical collectors edition of Morrowind and I have no problem with these changes. Its no different than any other MMO I've seen, bundling older expansions with the base game purchase seems to be a pretty common practice.

I pre-ordered the physical collector’s edition of Morrowind for that beautiful statue and my love of TES: III. I only get ESO+ every once and a while to dye my new costumes and visit the DLC I wouldn’t bother buying otherwise.

Been playing about 1 year now.
Got ESO+ after playing for a week and liking the game.
Got Morrowind upgrade when it came out.

Been playing MMO's for over a decade. I like to get new content when it comes out; sometimes pre-order if I like what the pre-order gives you early.

I've done ESO+ for a handful of months. Probably not 6 months yet. I didn't want to vote incorrectly however.
I just got Morrowind as the preorder bonus.

Non stop sub since PC launch. Bought Morrowind as Pre-order. Not shocked at all, and at this point I'm just "Meh". It makes sense to roll prior year Chapters back into DLC, and more attention for BG cant hurt.

I think this poll will be biased as most forum goers will have morrowind.

I have morrowind and ESO plus, and I think the Battleground changes were NECESSARY. It's about time they announced this. Wondering if the new battlegrounds in summerset will be available to everyone though?

The only theoretical problem I have is that it complicates the whole DLCs being included in ESO+ argument that I thought was over. It also means people are going to be less likely to buy a chapter outright if they expect it to become available in the store later...

    In practice I don't care...

I would think there's very few players that would wait a year to get free access to a chapter and always be one chapter behind current game content.

In reality, this changes nothing for me, and I suppose when chapter 3 "God Knows Where" is released and Summerset becomes part of the base game that will not change things for me either. SWTOR does something similar and I've heard, but don't know because I don't play it, that FF XIV does too.

I don’t care if Summerset becomes free next year and/or is bundled with expansion. I’ve pre-ordered.

ESO has given me endless hours of activity on such a meager cost.

Well worth the money spent and one of the best entertainment values available.

No ESO+ for the single reason that I can't really afford it at the moment. Bought Morrowind when there was a sale some time ago and did not regret it. I think all the recent releases were great -Morrowind and Clockwork City especially- and I'm considering to pre-order Summerset but I havn't decided yet. Otherwise I would wait for the next sale to buy it.

Should i have polled non forum users on the forums instead? I expect it to lean towards people who have upgrades on their account as people who are invested in the game tend to care more and thus will more likely be on the forums

I fully support the move. Makes sense for the game and community. Also, this is pretty similar to how every other MMO I’ve played works.

Pre-purchased Morrowind, and I've had a subscription for a whole 2 months (non-consecutive) since I got the game 3 years ago.

And at this point I think I'm definitely better off buying DLC I want rather than subscribing. It's annoying not being able to dye costumes (that's actually why I got the sub, both times) but I can live with it. The other subscription benefits don't interest me, and it means when something like this happens it doesn't affect me. Basically I bought a bundle of Vvardenfell + the warden + the collectors items instead of buying all 3 separately, and since I'd have bought them either way it doesn't matter. (I'm not counting battlegrounds because I never had any interest in them and still haven't touched it, so I didn't factor it in when deciding if the expansion was worth buying.)

Been playing ESO since BETA. I bought the collector's physical edition of the base game, Digital collector's Morrowind, and pre-ordered Digital Collector's edition of Summerset. I like the game and still actively play. I have no issue with how ZOS is running the game. Every MMO does this.

Oh, and for those of you that are saying "Screenshot or it didn't happen", here's a screenshot of the end of BETA:

I don't think anyone would doubt that you played the Beta - there's a lot of beta players still around (especially on this forum) in spite of the people claiming everyone quit at one or more points in the game's history.

There's also people like me who played the beta, but didn't get the game immediately for various reasons and then came back later on.
