Is there an addon that auto-refines mats?

    Not sure about an auto-refine mod but I use Multicraft to the same effect. You can quickly put in the quantity of ore you have, hit go, and let it refine away for 5-10 minutes.

    It's not exclusively for refining mats, but I use DoItAll: http://www.esoui.com/downloads/info690-DoItAll.html

    You can assign "X all" to a keybind (where X is extract, refine, launder, etc, depending on the context), and pressing the keybind will instantly do it all for you.

    Thank you! I have so many stockpiled I can't imagine sitting there for hours clicking that button to refine.

    As long as you're not doing 400 refines at a time, it will likely go unnoticed. I only queue 100 at most at a time, then take a break.

    Honestly, if they came down on people that used MultiCraft/Lazy Writ Crafter/etc they wopuld have to ban probably 80% of the endgame crowd. Probably not great for business. I'm not exactly worried. Sure, they might break or ban the addons, but they won't do it without warning people they aren't allowed first. They're too ubiquitous.

    Never knew Multicraft would do that. Thank you. I have always been leary of mass refiners as I like to keep say Dwemer Frame parts unrefined so I am careful about using them up.

    Note that Multicraft only does one material at a time (the one you select). Useful if you have 10,000 Rubedite Ore to refine and don't want to spend 30 minutes pressing a key.

    Two weeks ago, I used it to refine 30k mats in one sitting. Still playing. :smile:

    I just did several operations of 500 each and no issues.

    I've done 50000 mats batches without issues. DoItAll is slightly faster than multicraft and multicraft has upper limit of 999. I'm using both in fact and both have good uses.

    Some idiot moderator from ZOS said years ago in forums that addons are botting, but after that mistake they have not said it. Since then there has been e.g. Miat's controversial PvP addon but ZOS didn't ban anyone from using it because API allowed it. I am absolutely sure that these widely used addons are safe to use. You get exactly the same stuff with or without addons. They just give the convenience of not needing to press a key thousands of times and they save a bit of time.
