From the second I launch the game, one of the cores on my computer spikes to 100% utilization:
Good processor running windows 10. You may want to look into this.
I dont even have to log in, just bring up the welcome screen...
It is persistent throughout gameplay as well...

Just for some further info, this happens with all addons disabled and graphics quality on minimum
