Please fix the personal banker!

totally agree with this it really sucks learning something on a low character that was meant for your cp160 crafter, and you have no idea that you are no longer in your bank...

@ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_JessicaFolsom any response to this post from ZOS? This week alone, I have used my personal banker to deposit motifs and furnishing recipes that I have received from Jubilee Boxes and on at least two occasions, while actively depositing, the banker has walked away, leaving the deposit window opened, and instead of depositing into my bank when clicking the motif or furniture recipe, the character learned the item!!! If I had wanted any of my, non crafting characters to learn these I would not have been trying to deposit them into the bank.

Please let us know when you will be fixing this issue, because as it is, there are several players warning other players in guild and zone chat not to purchase the personal banker from the Crown Store for fear of loosing their items or using them on other alternate characters. Ultimately this will be a loss of sales if people cannot trust their banker and keep warning others not to purchase.

Haven't had this happen to me, mostly because I'm quick with my banker business, so I wasn't aware that this was even a thing.

ZOS, why is this a thing? This was a really half-assed change, even for you.

For banker/merchant purchases that cost nearly $40 EACH, this is absolute crap.

you know you can do an ingame petition and they will often return the motif to you?

I agree.
I didn't experience this issue but it is shown here that many have experienced it.
Can you please acknowledge the issue @ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_JessicaFolsom and fix it as soon as possible ?

I agree that this is annoying. I sometimes don't use the personal banker because of this. If I know i'm going to be searching for things for a while then I trek to the normal banker. For example, i'll be searching for motifs that a friend might need and this takes time while they link their achievements, etc and without fail, the banker walks away. Grr!

Yes. I don't have the consume problem, but the wandering off with the screen still open is driving me nuts.

Me too, sometimes it happens with the merchant as well. I find it happens more if I'm near random npcs walking around. I try to take my banker in a quiet corner. Doesn't tend to happen then.

I’ve tried taking him in a corner and even pulling him out in between the boulders in craglorn near the woodworking building, still doesn’t stop him from walking away and failing to close the window.

Honestly though, for something we paid $40 for, this is getting to be ridiculous. I noticed another post put up yesterday about this same issue.

I think ideal solution would be to make them completely stationary (like in your house) and auto-unsummon when you move too far. No more wild bankers and merchants blocking my view and increasing lag in dungeons, yay!

How may crowns are you willing to pay for an upgrade that allows you to toggle off the banker's movement? 500 crowns? 1,000? Even if you disagree with the idea of the upsell, how much would you actually pay?

If that was true, then it was a poor way to correct the problem. They could have implemented a timer instead so that if you had no transactions with the banker or merchant ater x number of minutes, then log out the player. They didn’t need to make it miserable for everyone else to use the assistant.
