2 writs with all my *** studied and it finds a way to *** me.

It is probably too late for you now, but never "use" the sealed writ until you are sure you can craft it. I always craft it first to be sure. Once you accept the quest then you cannot do any other writs of that crafting type until you complete or abandon it. If it is woodworking for example you could still do cloth, blacksmithing, etc. If you abandon it, it is unfortunately lost forever.

One for each craft. If you cancel an active master writ, you lose it permanently. Make sure in future you check out the required item before you accept it, that way you can sell it if you can't yet craft it.

I actually made a spread sheet to keep track of writs (alas, since I have 9 traits everywhere, it doesn't track that part), where I enter every writ I receive and see immediately whether I can craft it, which trait and style items I need and the amount of mats I need. It uses drop lists to pick slot, set, style & trait. It also shows me where I need to go to craft the respective set.

It's a bit of a hassle to fill it initially with exactly which styles you know for which slot, but now it works like a charm.
