Will Multicore support improve performance on PS4/Xbox?

One of the Summerset testers said that the game ran very smoothly during play with multicore support and both consoles have multiple CPU cores so I'm curious if we'll see the same type of improvement in performance that PC should.

Hopefully for the PS4 pro and Xbox version of it

But being realistic Sony and Microsoft probably has a limit that they allow them to use to keep the system safe from overheating etc etc. So probably won’t inprove as much as pc

The PS4 AMD Jaguar Processor has eight cores. Sony reserves one core for the operating system leaving seven cores available to developers.

Yeah I have a pro and not sure if consoles already distribute the processing or only use one core like PC does. Would be amazing if the update works for us as well.

Hurling more threads at a task isn’t the only factor; workloads and memory allocations must all be properly balanced.

Whatever the technicalities are I only know what I read from the tester about the performance improvement, maybe someone can tag the right Dev to get an official answer?

It is a complicated subject, both the Xbox and the PS4 8 core processors have 2x4 architectures, with a really nasty penalty for cross-cluster L2 cache reads.

On the other hand lots of servers run multiple physical cpu.

And yes for consoles the 8 farly slow running cores should get an major benefit of this, more than typical pc who run 4 far faster cores.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.
