How many trade guilds are you in?

None, but my PVE guilds have traders at places that get plenty of traffic. I do fine. (Though sometimes one or more lose the trader for a week or two. I manage.)

One of my guilds sometimes has a trader, but it's not even primarily a trade guild, it's a social guild which happens to include some people who are interested in trading. My other guild is exclusively a social guild. Of course we do sometimes trade with each other (both through the store and by mail) but we never even try to bid on traders.

I'm very much a casual player - not even on every week (definitely not every day) and I just sell whatever I happen to find and don't need, mostly recipes and crafting materials. So I never earn much from it and couldn't afford to pay fees even if I was willing to. Trade guilds which will let someone like that in tend to either die or change over time and get higher standards...or I lose track of time and get kicked for not logging in for too long.

My guilds are not pure trade, but trade/social. When I started playing I just accepted all invitations, that's how I eneded being in 5 of them. I enjoy them all and I always have things to sell - recipes, furniture plans, intricate gear and glyphs. Not the type of goods to make one rich, but still a nice addition to income. Sometimes I sell mats and known motifs. I'm trying to sell crafted furniture, but I can't say it is really worth doing...

Technically none. But at least 2 of the 3 guilds I am in tend to get a trader on a semi-regular basis.

    No guilds of any kind.

Why? Do you feel guilds don't offer enough or is it the drama?

Trade: Don't do enough trading to belong to a useful trade guild

Social: Don't have any friends in-game to socialize with

    RP: Don't RP

PvE: If I belonged to a group, I'd feel duty-bound to support my fellow group members.... and I refuse to have my limited playtime dictated by others' needs.

(I've only ever belonged to a 'real' guild in one MMO, and that took almost 5 years of playing before I joined it. And that was just to have access to some costumes that could only be obtained from a guild vendor. It was a low-key guild that only existed to provide members access to those guild vendors. I also made a fake 'private' guild in WoW - with all my Horde alts in it - to stop randoms from spamming me with guild invites.)

None. I am in one guild, that gets a trader, just not every week. I play on console, and don't sell enough to justify belonging to a trade guild and pay the required weekly donation.

    just 2.

I don't sell enough anymore to justify more, but one isn't enough, especially when I can't be certain we'll have a guild trader from week to week.

None. I have better things to do with my time. It’s easier, cheaper, and faster to just farm for whatever I need/want than to even attempt to navigate the horrid search engine, or lack thereof, even on my own guild traders. Instead, I can hang out with friends, go kill stuff, do trials, etc. much more fun and rewarding.

Do you enjoy more social guilds as opposed to trade guilds?

I don’t really see a purpose for guilds beyond trading in this game. There are no guild halls, guild perks, guild anything’s, besides traders. Everything I can get from a guild in ESO, I can get from just having an Xbox party running, and all of the people I run with on my friend’s list. No need to declare who is the leader or assistant leaders, or etc. Just party up, run dungeons, etc.

the guilds I am in do have guild halls that have all of the set crafting tables in the game. They also have transmutation station and we are working on getting vouchers for a jewelry station . So the notion that guilds are just for trading is false.

No, you have a person I need your guild who is allowing his/her personally owned house to be used by the guild, and the guild has populated their house with stuff. A guild is not required in the least to do this. I can have 19 friends (20 of us total), not one single common guild between us, and do the exact same. So, no. Next item on your list of why we need guilds?

I would be in more, but I need the other two slots for my PVE/Social guild and my PVP guild. Still, oftentimes I fill all 90 slots and am still sitting on a ton of things to sell just waiting.

This is part of my issue with the current guild trader system. Players shouldn't have to be in 3+ guilds to sell stuff and forfeit a slot for other stuff. I enjoy many parts of this game, but the trade system is one of the worst in any game I’ve ever played. It is very limiting in many ways, and arbitrarily so, in my opinion.

Would it help or hurt to raise amount a guild member can sell? Maybe we raise cap on member limit? Then will it hurt competition?

I think raising cap on members and sale slots per member would make a big difference in that respect. Im not sure how that would affect the balance of everything else tbh.
