Uniforms for Guildranks

I think it would be nice to have the possibility, since we have an outfit system now, to create and set certain outfits for the ranks you have in your guild. Lets say (just a random idea here), you have a DC themed guild, and you can set a medium breton armor for the recruit rank in your guild and maybe customize it a bit with dyes in a UI like the outfit system is right now (i think the UI is ok and you have a rather good overview). Heavier armor for the higher ranks etc, light for your sorcs etc. ,just an example. However the GM must know the motif of the uniforms he want to create.

I also thought of certain (really minor) bonuses, you can set for your guild members who wear that outfit, but this would put a lot of work on the developers in regards to time and effort... so would be cool if people could offer some kind of insightful opinions on this.

Can't you do that by agreement now? I wouldn't want ESO to give any more power to the petty dictators, or they'll run amok with it.

Well those type of GM s are a nuisance, no question. Luckily I haven t met any of those yet.

By agreement idk... i have the feeling as long as there s no interface for it, no GMaster is going to bother, also I havent seen any guild yet doing that, and I am not surprised. Players would be reluctant to follow along by worded agreements if there s no incentive, especially in bigger guilds with 25+ players, where the GM has no overview.

However i feel like, if you offer tools and a UI to the players to test and experiment with, it will be easier for others to come along, because the effort is minimized. GM s can set up the outfits (maybe there should be a voting system for the members about those outfits), and player s get something for wearing them in return.

If I think about grouping for dungeons its just the same. Thankfully we have a dungeon finder. I wouldnt want to search a group for every pledge by myself.

It would be cool if it was by choice but to do so you need extra outfit and they are not account wide nor acceptable price

    So not gonna happen

you mean the slots? well yeah, would not be surprised if this would get monetized in some way or the other, but well, we cant expect everything for free, they work for it. We can at least try to expect reasonable pricing once in a while (we might be disappointed though).

I think they should offer you at least one slot for everyone of your ranks, for a certain amount of time, or in other words one free slot for your whole ranktree/-roster, whatever the word is... . Or maybe you can outfit 3 ranks for free. If you want more, will cost you crowns. I wont die if I pay one month of subscription crowns, especially if the rest of the crown-store is not interesting, and I am aware others are not happy with paying anything, and i can feel them.

How ZOS would price it, is really up to them. I am sure it would cost something, but they should offer a free base for everyone (aforementioned 3 rankslots).

    P.S:
I dont mind having one outfit slot for the personal outfit we have right now, you have stations everywhere, the in game gold cost for changing your gear within the slot isnt beyond this world , so I personally, cant really complain about the pricing, I just manage things to avoid unnecessary cost.
