Guild pvp activity non Alliance War. Reward for PvErs

Housing is cool and all but can we PvPrs that no longer find joy in horse simulators and emperor farming get a Guild PvP activity with prestige? What I imagine goes along these lines.

3 instances the size twice of that of a public dungeon. 1 located in each capital of the 3 alliances.
The area is PvP in which you can attack anybody that does not belong to your 24man raid.

Now in these instances will only open once every 2 weeks, with separete queues than cyrodiil, during prime time and for 2 hours those raid/guilds will fight to take control of a castle.

The 3 winning raids/guilds will become the reagents of the alliances, and maybe for two weeks they can enjoy some rewards of some value. After 2 weeks they will need to defend their castle from those guild/raids looking to steal the crown.

Now as you can see nobody that does not join these instances will be attacked.
Obviously this will not be a PvE content so I will not pretent that I am asking for something that everybody can enjoy.

These rewards for the winners obviously will not make them as rich as guild trading leaders are. Not even 1/10 of what guild trading leaders make weekly.

It's more about guilds that want to fight against all to claim to be the strongest of their alliance.

I am interested if feedback from PvPrs that look for more than what we have atm.

The location on each Alliance that is linked to those instanced castles should have a hub of Npcs. In order for those NPCs to appear the guild that occupies the castle will have to pay 500k or 1mil gold.

Those NPCs will offer a limited amount of available quest starting items for a small cost(100 gold or 2k). Every account can only buy 1 item. The guild that occupies the castle will not earn any gold from these transactions.

At RANDOM times these Npcs will appear during those 2 weeks 4 times giving out a pre determained amount of quest items(50-100 x4)Those lucky enough will grab a quest starting item. Perhaps members of that guild should not be able to participate with any of their chars

These quests will have a theme. Perhaps an EP pver will get a quest saying that they should complete all Deshan WB, anchors, dungeons, delves.
A more challenging quest may required to complete veteran all trials in Graglorn if they chose to purchase the 2k Quest item.

Upon completing the quest the PvEr will return to the NPC. The reward will be 100 cp160 raw materials 200 refined materials 25 purple mats and a chance for 2 gold mats OF THEIR CHOOSING.

The guild will bank a random medium/rare motif for every 20 quests completed by players

I believe that this additional PvP only content will also give some fun activities for PvErs with helpful rewards.

Honestly so many threads you start have cool sentiments I could go with, but then you fire in little aggressive digs at certain areas of the community and it spoils your point. But fair play there's no mention of nerfing Sorc in this one.

I'd like to see PvP stuff for guilds but I'm unsure this is it, in particular locking anything to primetime. Who's primetime is that in a 24/7 global game?

A simpler answer would be guild level battlegrounds. So private ones just for internal guild training then perhaps a guild leaderboard or a contest 4 man teams could sign up to or something to be more akin to what you are asking

Inventing a PvP mode from scratch would be cool but we already had BG so unlikely

I dont understand why you feel strangers should get along smoothly. Personally I am not here to make friends, or belittle others. Just discussing the game. My tone supports my positions firmly and at the same time objects to notions and mentalities I dont agree with.

It is not 24/7. It is Eu.
Eu vivec gets morning capped for 2 years now so that kills the campaign. So much for 24/7
    BGs are side minigames.

What I am talking about in here is an addition to the game which gives yet another reason for guilds to form and play competitively.

I'd love a system like they had in Ragnarok Online if you're familiar with that^^ (War of Emperium)

The War of Emperium is a game feature that allows guilds to fight in order to conquer a Castle to be the headquarters for the guild, and get benefits and special advantages.

Owning a Castle gives your guild several benefits. First off, there is a special Guild Dungeon accessible to everyone in the guild. These dungeons have several strong monsters that in some cases do not spawn in the normal world. Secondly, every night, 4 or more (depending on the economy of the castle) treasure boxes will appear in the castle giving useful items and equipments.

It's kinda like you do in Cyrodiil+spezial features for guilds^^

It is quite simple to me, I am a PvE exclusively player and if ZOS wants to create little isolated instances where PvP-ers can go bonkers fun for a little bit then go for it. Just so long as it is optional and I can go through the area in normal pve mode and not have to put up with seeing or dealing with PvP-ers when I am in the PvE instance.
Now I do not think think the capitol is a good idea as it does not really fit with lore but maybe have it be a pocket city or something close to the cyrodiil border. But that is more or less it, I say have at it just so long as I can happily ignore and not be affected by it. (Also again individual small instances for them cause in the “real” world I do not want to see a bunch of EP or AD troops in DC capitol.)

    Thank you for being altruistic

Well I would not really call it altruism, though I do appreciate the compliment. Honestly it is just that the point of The Elder Scrolls series is for players to play the game their way as much as possible. PvP-ers are gamers too and while I have plenty of salt for them at times, this hardly seems like a situation for it. I just think your idea has merit and could be beneficial to those players who enjoy that kind of gameplay.

While I do not see any specific issue with that format, I suspect that many PvE-ers would be willing to put up with PvP risk for the stuff. I could be totally wrong but I know for me it would not make a dfference if they added a lightsaber, I would not risk PvP for any reward. But as I said that is just me, it could work on others just don’t feel like it would have that intended benefit.

    No PvP risk.
These NPCs will be outside the PvP instanced castle and after a guild has been declared victorious in the siege every 2 weeks

Ah, I see what you are saying. Well still though, it would not make sense for a faction to be able to hold a capitol like that but a city on the border to cyrodiil then I think that might work. I still think many in the PvE community would find it annoying regardless of the benefit but with tweaking it could be a viable addition.

Tsk. Here's a seriously non-PvPer saying that, in the main, the idea has merit. I might even participate if it were GvG. No rage, just cautious consideration because, unfortunately, SOME PvPers have a mentality that I find off-putting.

Benefit...well, there's always "cash", xp, the fun of a thing, camaraderie, sense of achievement, stuff like that. I'd be more inclined to go with something like this because I know my guildies and what they are capable of and can trust them to have my back, so to speak.

open once every 2 weeks so part of the server who cant be on then will miss it every single time im guessing

You've taken shots at just about everyone here. people from other time zones, guild masters, lets see who else.

Take deep breaths and read again.
Let's put aside the social issues you bring up because I am definatly not going to care about ticking peoples checklists, and return to the topic.

People wont be able to join every 2 weeks? Have you played any other mmorpg that has PvP and guilds in it?

Cyrodiil has nothing to offer to guilds. You dont even have to create a guild to complete Cyrodiil targets. All you have to do is to be part of an organized group. The game itself doesn't care whether you also form a guild or not.

Now, why is it wrong to ask for a new PvP content?
We have Cyrodiil, IC(dead because they made rubedo mats obtainable everywhere) and Morrowind with BGs.

Orsinium. Thieves Guild. Dark Brotherhood. Black Marsh. Flaygtkfrujtd Reach. Dragon Bones. Clockwork City.

Why shouldnt ppl ask for a PvP only content?

Now again if you unferstood my concept you will see that the victorious guilds will provide content for PvErs with rewards better than what the undaunted Orc gives with the dailies, or what FG dailies give.
New PvP dlc plus dailies even for those that dont care to PvP.

"People will miss out if it's once every two weeks..."
Yes. Those that dont commit will miss out. It is a Guild activity, not a damn boring daily quest ffs.
