Transmute Crystals in Anniversary Boxes

I can pick up Transmute Crystal's out of the anniversary boxes even though I'm full on crystals?

No. They will remain in the container and the container will stay on your inventory until you clear space or delete it.

Info was wrong. You actually lose the crystals!

They really need to make geode stack or make them bankable.
I am at the point of destroying them because of clogged inventory space.

Agreed, don't want to destroy them because I know I'll need them soon.

I feel like this is done on purpose - ESO doesn't want us hoarding tons of crystals so that we can instantly swap out entire sets the first day of a patch and be done. We will still have to do content for them and farm them like everyone else.

It's annoying to me too, over half my inventory is taken up by unopened crystals lol. But I'm okay with what I suspect is the reasoning behind it.

Then I wish I could stop earning them, I get way too many on my low level PvP characters that can't even use them yet.

I stopped worrying about crystals and started transmuting...

They are so easy to come by just playing half an hour of PvP on each character before a campagin ends that I'm transmuting everything all the time.

Even common pieces from easy dungeons... And I still have around 700 or so on those gold end of campaing rewards.

My understanding is stackable containers (ie geodes) cause major bugs, which is why no containers stack.

Now, why they can't fix those major bugs, I don't know.

I'm actually delighted that they:

1) fixed it so the crystals remained in the container if you're already at your limit (previously you'd lose them)

And

2) that they included crystals in the anniversary boxes because A) it gives everyone a chance to get some, even people not geared toward pledges, trials and pvp, and B ) lets us still earn a few crystals by doing the event, which will take away time from doing the usual content that rewards crystals.

I'm pretty soured on ZOS, but they did good here.

I have just been transmuting monster helmets to divines to use up the stones. I seem to be able to collect them really fast.

Well they could juts scrap transmutation altogether and we could go back to the crazy grind for Divines only.

Yah I think I can deal with the surplus stones in my inventory.

By the way, when ou reach level 47 you gain 50 Transmute Crystals. Where this crystals goes if you are full? Can't find it. No container, no mail, nothing.

I'm desperately buying sets that I might possibly use in the future, with wrong traits on purpose to use my crystals on them. 200 crystals aka 4 transmutations is just not enough. I wish they would improve this somehow and allow us to store more.

Even if they would just change it so we could top a container off to it's max amount. Too many containers with 1 to 3 out of 25.

Sorry mate, but they're gone. If you go over cap you just lose the excess.

no they done, i got at least 12 from the 84 Julb awards i got today, and they all went bye bye (currently sitting with about 400 in inventory in my 14 players

Craft iron daggers transmute to nirn then decon and turn all those extra crystals into potent nirncrux

As a PvEer, I don't know what this feels like. Getting to 200 crystals by only doing PvE content takes like 3 years.

I got my stack down to 150/200 before the event started as I read they could drop.
Thankfully I'm only getting 1-2-3 loose crystals at a time.
When I get too close I'll go transmute something I'm holding in my bank with the wrong trait.

You are right. I might have had something else going on when I though this was the case. You indeed lose the crystals. I corrected the info.

I have like 20 gold geodes on each toon. Its ridiculous. I just trash any and all i get now. I have the limit 20 times over in my inventories lol.

Yep, the amount really needs to be like 1k. I don’t see why it’s capped at 200? I understand the lower cap, but the higher one not at all.

Yep, friend got to level 47, because they're not eso+, they had full stack and that 50 crystal reward went nowhere. Emailed support and their response was "can only get rewards once per account." This is their first leveled character through the new rewards system - (which zos should have been able to see...) Still no response from them.
