Assistant Pirharri the smuggler WORTHLESS?

Is it just me or is the Assistant Pirharri the smuggler kind of worthless. I unlocked her but do not think I'll ever use her like EVER! That 35% cut she takes should NOT be there and she should also launder items as well. You should also be able to pay her to get rid of your bounty at double the price and only while out of combat and where no one sees you.

You do thieving to make money. Using her would not help with that.

She should have been fence items with no additional cost. Be Able to launder items at no additional cost, Pay your bounty off at double or triple the price while out of combat and no one sees you. This would make her worth unlocking. As she is now don't bother with her at all.

She's gonna be limited in relevant features if Nuz dosen't repair equipment/sell basic supplies and Tythis won't let you access guild bank or sell bank capacity upgrades (I think?), and those two are hefty crown store purchases, Pirhanna is free (unless you consider her part of the Thieves Guild DLC package.)

She is almost pointless, though. No denying her 35% is pretty rude. Her only reasonable purpose is if players dont want to journey to an Outlaws Refuge/the Thieves Guild to sell all the stolen goods they have.

But at least most would prefer to take the time and journey (even with a shoot on sight bounty) over Pirhanna's cut.

I thinking giving her full or improved functionality goes against what ZOS want with the assistants.

However in the state she is now I don't know of anyone who really uses her. Having her let you launder items at a marked up price would be nice, I would be willing to pay more gold to clear items in the field (not that it makes much sense logically).

I would be alot more okay with a more expensive laundry service from an assist, than selling stolen goods for less. (mainly cos I like to launder and collect some stolen junk... my main has like 35 porcelain teacups from my B.M.M achievement grinding)

What truly sucks is if ZoS had put this into their Crown Store, it would have the full benefits of an actual fence.

Its a free assistant, they wanted to make sure that she was worthless. IMO the least they could have done is make her exempt from the fencing limits, then she could have at least had some value. As is using her is a direct loss since it means you cant fence that many items to a proper fence that wont take 35% of your profit.

Paying your bounty with her would be a bit silly, it would mean that there is no longer a challenge in avoiding the guards to get to an outlaw's refuge.

It would be nice to be able to launder with her as well, but this is pretty much on par with the other assistants. Tythis wont let you access your guild banks or stores, and the merchant doesn't repair (aka the only thing an npc merchant is good for).

She`s good for leveling Legerdemain if you dont want to haul your 1Gold-Loot back to the Thieves Den between shiprobberies.

I only use her as an NPC in my homes... like a prisoner in a cage or something. Other then that, I find her pretty pointless.

I have never used her. Stealing is my main form of making gold, and the 35% cut is far too steep. If it was only 20% I might consider it, but even then... ehhh.

She just seems to be a random cute thing that they gave us, though I think she is even less useful than a vanity pet.

I just have her in the fungeon in my house. It's the best use for her I've found, because the in-game functionality is a ripoff. I never expected much, though, since there's quite a few outlaw refuges that are very close to/right on top of a wayshrine (like the Anvil one).

I wouldn’t say totally worthless. If you’re carrying a large bounty and need to dump stolen items quickly in an area full of guards, she can be handy. Extremely situational, though.

I’m pretty sure you can use her while stealthed.

shes also great for leveling up the skill. Keeps you from having to dump at a thieves guild.

I have her in my house playing with what looks like a big ball of yarn.

Not worthless, he does exactly what he's supposed to to, exactly what he says he does. His fees are unreasonably steep, but the surcharge I suppose for earning his services for free (as opposed to the Crown cost of the other assistants) and the convenience of not having to go to a refuge and deal with load screens.

Or you can just run to the outlaw refuge. Getting away from the guards is easy if you know what you're doing & where you're going. I'd much rather risk getting a talking to from a guard (before giving them a swift kick in the nads and making a break for it) than loose 35% of my profit.

Its usefull if you got like 2-3 40g items to sell and cant be bothered to run and you just want clean bags.

She is in my house next to my crafting stations. I cant be bothered to find a thieves den so on my pump n dump house runs i clear any stolen goods with her.

If you dgaf about gold cause its easy to get, it works as a dump station.

She is not for the thief, she is for the occasional idiot who happens to wind up with stolen stuff.

Other then using her as housing decor, she's pretty useless.

I purchased her shortly after thieves guild release, thinking she could repair armor. That certainly wasn't the case so I got my crowns back and bought the banker. Now that was a really good investment.

What makes you think that? The crown store banker only gives you access to *your* bank. No store, no guild, only your personal bank. Useful if you have full inventory in a dungeon and need to dump stuff, but otherwise, not so much. The crown store merchant lets you sell stuff. No repair functions. Why would the smuggler be added to the crown store with full functionality?

It's free, what do you expect? Besides, I wouldn't say totally worthless because it helps if you want to clear stolen items quickly to make room in inventory.

No much danger with some houses be right outside entrance to outlaw den. (Snugpod). She might have use to somebody who picked items casually but cut probably isn't worth visit of 20g.
Let's not forget it counts towards fencing limit.

Yeah, not useful at all with how easy it is to get away from guards. Her fee would have to be reduced to 10% before anyone would start using her, and even then. Or, as others have mentioned, launder services with a steep expense. Laundering stolen motifs just might be worth the fee to safeguard them from being taken by guards, or at least be convenient enough that it saves the trouble of going into a thieves den for it, even if it is an extra 100 or 200 gold.

Not useless at all if you want to quickly clear inventory space. Many people are trying to maximize their play time more than their gold.

That being said, I have never used it. I'd rather go to a refuge and get the full amount since you have to sell quite a lot in all zones to get the achievements.

I hurried through the thieves guild quests to get her, but was disappointed to learn about the 35% deduction. Waste of time.
