You can buy them from the crafters near stations. I think they are like 10gc or something cheap.

You can also steal from containers and launder what you find, as they often contain style mats. Hirelings give them too.Honestly, if you just play the game and loot and plunder everything you find along the way, you will eventually not have an issue. Max crafters only make 3 items a day per writ not 9 too so the burden gets easier. I've got like 500 of each or more from just doing normal stuff.

1-10. You can buy them for 15 gold a piece from vendors. Also the books are cheap (except for 10: Imperial), and your characters will always know at least one of them. Beyond that, you'd be looking at something like farming Daedra for their hearts until your eyes bleed or dolmens for Azure Plasm.

Dolmens are a great source for everything Daedra lol. Plus, most of the Crow daily items drop from the mobs that spawn, so its a win win. The ones that don't, ornate armor, you always get from the FG daily, which requires you to defeat the dolmens in a given area. So its all very Zen.

Not really that great, oddly. Since most of the dolmen trash vaporizes on death instead of dropping loot. Only the initial cultist pull, and the boss wave can be looted. That means you usually have, at most, 13 potential drops from any dolmen, and six of those aren't even daedra.

Assuming your grinding Dolmens in, lets say, the Desert, those mats despite the low drop rates add up quick. Hearts, husks, elemental, essence, and plasm after a 2 hour run are enough to sustain multiple characters for the crow quest for a month at least. The stuff you don't get can be farmed quick in coldharbour.

While i'm not saying its perfect, it is the only way i've found that consistently gets me what i need. (without painfully intense concentration)

I do see ur point though, as im sure there are plenty of more successful ways to farm hearts.

Go container farming. Delves that have lots of urns or pots have tons of style materials. Mainly dwarven and nord tomb delves.

When you go farm, do so in a DLC area such as Hew's Bane, Gold Coast, Wrothgar as these have a component that can be built into a style materiel that you collect as you farm. Morrowind also has it and I imagine that Summerset will too.

Use the treasure maps and process all the items except the good selling items. Means most will be processed.
