I hear that this comes around every so often, and wondered if there is a pattern to when it shows up or if it's just random. I would love this one for my collection.

It was a originally a limited time mount, and then eventually was added to the Wild Hunt Crown Crate, so unless they bring that season back(more than likely no) you'll be unable to get it.

I was lucky to buy that one(and the Ice Wolf) before they became Crate crap. The Highland Wolf is just as good though, if you are looking for a wolf.

There may be some Doom wolf codes floating around since Elder Scroll Legends (card game) had a promo where they were giving out Doom wolf codes.

Okay, Elder Scrolls Legends. This is totally separate from ESO, right? Edited to mention that if anyone has a spare code they'd be willing to donate to a total stranger (I'm a nice guy, promise! ha ha) that would be mighty kind of ya.

Yup, and people can sell them for a TON of in game gold if they want. Same for the pig pet code

I may do that and check auction houses. Couldn't figure out at all how to buy Legends last night. Edited to ask, Het, you wouldn't have any idea how to search TTC for that mount code, would ya?

Alrighty, so buying The Fall of the Dark Brotherhood bundle of TESL still gives you a code for the Doom Wolf mount. Got one last night. You have to buy that bundle, though, and not just DL the F2P base game.

if yer on PC yes, in ESO... not so for consoles. Kind of a cross promotion when they launched LEGENDS. I see the codes for sale occasionally on EBAY (buyer beware), but they sell quick.

All good here. I just paid the 21 bucks for the bundle. Glad that mount is still offered. As you said, though, it's only good for PC.

I'd like them to do a version of the black wolf that has normal eyes, like that gorgeous black lion they did. I'd like it to just look like a normal black wolf.
