Dungeon Finder: Auto group-disband is stupid

SPOILER ALERT: This is a rant.

Dear ZOS, if you are in group finder and are queued for a replacement, DO NOT DISBAND THE GROUP AND KICK PEOPLE OUT OF THE INSTANCE.

If we are in the queue, someone OBVIOUSLY want to finish it. This is INCREDIBLY infuriating when you are on the last boss of a vet dungeon and someone has to leave because they need to go wipe their snotty little nose or are too bothered by "it's just a game bruh, not a job, so carry me while I toke it up, maaaaaaaaan".

You want to know why there is hostility in your game and people think group finder is crap? THIS IS WHY.

Low level people want to know why a high CP player would rather just blast through a normal for the quest credit? THIS IS WHY.

INB4 "Form your own group from zone/guild then." Not everyone on my friends list is available at all times or want to do the same tired ass garbage instance for the 700th time.

TL/DR: group finder programming is stupid. If you have people leave the group, do not assume everyone is done.

Did the group disband? Then its logical to assume they are done. As long as more than one person remains in group, the dungeon won't kick you out.

However, if you hit the point where only one person wants to stick it out in queue, I don't know why ZOS can't let you stay in, other than possibly to prevent griefing by pulling people into completed instances (which happens accidently anyway.)

Yes. Group disbanded. Sat in the queue about 1min as the tank, with 1 DPS. Then it said "forming group" immediately followed by "removing from area".

Im fine with the disband provided it gives you enough time to finish quest. Today it is not the case.

Increase duration before dungeon kick out seems best solution

*sigh* yes, I am salty. This game, for how much I like it and the time I put into it... has some features that just make me want to put a fist through my monitor.

To me, it's worse than being kicked from a group with no explanation.

That sounds like a bug. If you and one DPS were still in the group, then it should have waited for you to find a replacement.

Did you file a bug report?

No no, you have a point. A little part of me dies every time a person disbands the group during CoH while I'm listening to the ghost's life story.
