Outfits Question

Bansidhe1965
New too outfits,as a fan of Altmer my chars. clothing will be in either Glass or Bouyant Arminger motif's

My question is this if I make a heavy chest, can I using the outfit station, make it look like the light robe ?

Also,if I make it in glass, then change it too BA,will it still look glassy, just a differant style ?

You can change whatever you are wearing to look like whatever you want in the Outfit Station.

Say I'm wearing the heavy armor Ebon Armory set but I like annoying the "muh immersions" crowd and want to look like I'm wearing a robe while I tank. I can use any light armored robe as the appearance in the Outfit Station instead of the normal heavy armor look and still get all the benefits of wearing heavy armor.

If your equipped armor is regular glass, then if you wear No Outfit, you will see the regular glass.
If your outfit is Buoyant Armiger glass, then when you wear your outfit, you will see the Buoyant Armiger glass.

Think of the Outfit as a custom Costume that you can assemble out of motifs your account knows. Just like a Costume hides your real equipment, so does an Outfit.

Except that the only "hide slot" option at the moment is the helmet - we expect more to come. If you don't have an item in the slot, the actual piece worn will show.

A lot of folks are also adding a disguised weapon (or two) and shield to their Outfit, which is something the Costume doesn't permit.

You can also use lower level styles from the styles who support it, think its only the base racial ones.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

Outfits are skins and work exactly like costumes with one difference: you can make an outfit for each piece of attire, meaning you can show some Outfit options while keeping base armor visible. It's really your choice.

Outfits do not affect the base armor.
