So, there is no chronological order regarding timelines in the DLC?

Not really. They’re mostly standalone. I would recommend doing the Morrowind main questline before clockwork city though, but it’s not vital to do them in that order.
The rest are all completely disconnected from each other.

Your alliance + main quest -> other alliances -> Orsinium (because it mention Morrowind; for those who are not DC, can be right after DC) -> Dark Brotherhood (old friends + mention Morrowind; but you can just get blade before actually doing - that's from start quest) -> Morrowind (Naryu can mention previous adventures) -> Clockwork City (old friends again, mention Summerset).
You can do Thieves Guild any time you want, because it has no connection with other quests and characters, but I think it is much more convinient to do, when you already have Blade of Woe.
And I can't say anything about Imperial city, didn't do it myself.

IC is the only Dlc related to the main story.

Yes, I hate PvP, so I don't touch Imperial City.

Just dont buy DLCs that dont have a new piece of map. The dungeons are not worthy it.
If however you need the Monster sets for competitive PvP do it. You wont need those sets for competitive PvE, it's too easy.
I often bash Zos, but I must say yesterday I got clockwork city DLC and I had a good time for 14h. Loved it. But I wont be getting Dungeon DLCs
Give stamDK a stamina Stonefist.
Move Momentum to FG.
