Crown Sale for anniversary?

They never pre-announce the sales. For all we know they'll start a sale today when they get into the office.

I'm hoping they don't as I want to buy Shadow of War when it next goes on sale in PSN. Plus i bought crowns at full price last week and as per usual, it would mean yet another sale just after I've just recently purchased crowns at full whack.

Not that I'd be bitter or anything.

Somehow I doubt they will. They seem to like to do them when people aren't expecting them. I think they'd rather people buy them at full price and be caught off-guard and unbudgeted for cheap crowns.

It'd be nice, but, not holding my breath.

They just had a free trial and sale on the game.

it would be absolutely stupid of them not to have a crown sale right now. But they tend not to make great business decisions so I am not holding my breath.

Could have sworn they had them on a sale for last year's "3rd Anniversary" celebration period. I guess this year isn't important? ;P Good for me; will instead soon start stockpiling Nintendo eShop Credit to get Super Smash Bros. for the Nintendo Switch digitally, when the time comes~

We did indeed have a Crown Sale last Anniversary... you can still find the threads on it.

Perhaps it will arrive soon?

Yeah, in trying to be on the safe side, I'll give it maybe even a week before spending the money...Elsweyr, hehe. X3 Isn't looking hopeful, when the featured stuff, in my case on the PlayStation Store, changes, yet Crown Packs remain full price.

That said, am now 90% sure they are being stingy about it this year... They're lucky I'm psyched for Summerset, otherwise this would have soured my mood considerably. I wanted to try for the Shadow-Rider Senche...

If I were them I would be waiting for the release of Summerset and Psijic Crown Crates before I put them on sale. Currently the bulk of the people playing are established in the game but an influx of new blood is likely with the releases in June. The new people can get their first taste of the store at the discounted crown price and set them up as future shoppers. It would also put the sale almost 6 months after the last sale and likely 6 months before the next spacing them out nicely and possibly establishing a model for the future.

Of course I'm not in charge so who knows what they are thinking.

Guys, maybe dial back the bitterness on these posts lol It's very likely a sale is coming at some point soon. Acting passive aggressive or snarky because it's not here now is a bit ill advised this early. Just be patient and see if it comes instead of filling the forums with posts like this.

...That does make a lot of sense, yeah... ^^' Welp, would be handy for taking some spins at some nice Psijic Vault Crown Crate Season stuff! I wonder if...no, I daren't mention it, though they may already have that planned for the Crates regardless...

Just gonna try look forward to Summerset. Sounds to me to be overall shaping up to be possibly the best singular update yet, I dare to say, despite the pretty considerable number of big updates, added features and all. Lots to look forward to with it.

They have launched the Coldharbour pack and home... so they may be wanting to cash in on crowns from that before launching a crown sale... however, given the timing of last year, I would hope there would be a sale within the next 14 days, preferably within the anniversary period to celebrate the 3rd birthday
