Oh you totally should this year, it's good fun if you're doing some kind of daily quest anyway. Hugely lucrative, too! Sell your spare motif pages and make some bank. Sure it'll crash the market temporarily but I'm actually ok with that, I just want people to have nice things.

It did not crash the market last year. Merchant guild members bought up practically every cheap motif and banked them...

The Gift Boxes even drop for doing L1 Writs, so you don't need to spend one single skill point to do these. Plus you get back the exact mats you need to use to the writs so your usage rate is pretty low

The market definitely dipped, and some things like Akaviri motif never really recovered. I used it as an opporunity to buy all the motifs I was missing, and it was definitely cheaper than it would have been the week before. If you have the room, best to hold any spares for a month or 2 before listing.
Does this daily quest are the normal based game quests and the daily for the event? Just making sure.hroughout the event, any daily or weekly quest you complete will earn you an Anniversary Gift Box (in addition to their regular rewards). These reward boxes contain crafting materials (ore, ingredients, runes, etc.) and a single rare crafting item (Nirncrux, style items, motif pages, etc.) Note: Gift Boxes cannot be earned by completing infinitely repeatable quests.
So basically it only can be obtainable in these location, that means this places would be super duper crowded. AhRarer rewards include hard-to-get motif pages previously only available in Vvardenfell, the Horns of the Reach dungeons, and the Clockwork City.

Very true, but I will probably respec anyway. If I am going to do it, might as well go all in. Its not that big a deal for me as I usually keep 8 toons spec'ed for max level writs, and on an event like this I will probably go to 12.

Akaviri will never recover because we can't spend AP at all the same gold sinks we use for gold. If we could use AP to buy luxury and achievement furniture then we could recover the AP market almost overnight.
So basically do your quests from the day before, but don't turn in... don't do crafting dailies from the day before but have them stored up and then turn in quests when event starts... seems rather odd imo.

...in addition, if you have any unfinished crafting writs in your journal right now, either complete or abandon them before 2am EDT (reset time) tonight, so that you can accept all 6 writs fresh after 2am EDT, to make sure that they're all Tuesday's writs, due to the odd way that the writs cycle every so many days...if you don't do so, you may get some, but may not get all doubles on the first day of the event. In other words, on Wednesday, you can turn in Tuesday's writ, then pick up Wednesday's writ and turn it in also. But if you turn in Monday's or Sunday's, or even older, writ on Wednesday, you may or may not get another writ for Wednesday. It depends on the turnaround of the cycle of writs. This may or may not apply to other dailies, but I don't have any good info on that.
All blue dailys, any blue daily I would think since last year any blue quest counted, also be sure to save them for tomorrow for wednesday they were retroactive the first day last year too, so if you wanted to have extra boxes the first day keep and hold onto as many dailys as you can and turn them in on wednesday instead

This will work as long as it's Tuesday's daily that you're holding. If the dailies are any earlier, you may or may not get another on Wednesday.
Also, this is not an event-specific occurence, this is part of the regular game function, and the dailies should always do this. You can always turn in yesterday's daily, and then still be able to pick up a new one for today and turn it in, whether madness, dark dolmens, crafting, etc.

Also if you're doing top-tier Writs, you have a chance for Motif pages AND Master Writs.
