The xp event turns players into pigs!

The struggle for grindspots is real. I know it's frustrating to lose xp because the area is getting crowded, that is however no excuse to abandon all common decency.
Some basement dwelling ultratryards are really taking it too far. These are the messages I received immediately after I logged onto a char located in a popular grind spot, I didn't even attack any npcs there, just stood still for about 10s.

I would love it if zos decided to suspend these and any other accounts for as long as the double exp events last (jester +jubilee anniversary). It would teach them a good lesson.

I think it was made worse by the short duration. When people have more time for the event it's easier to walk away or try to port somewhere else and then port back hoping for a new shard to form.

Log on to a magblade drop destro ults just before they finish piling their mobs and watch them rage quit and leave the spot. You get to have some fun and also get some XP.

Skyreach is instanced. Take your grinding partner there and stop being an entitled jerk.

Run into that every double exp event.

I'll typically leave an area if I see a duo grinding there. If it's a single player I'll ask if I can join. Unfortunately other players rarely show me the same courtesy. I've had players come to a spot that I was grinding and tell me to GTFO. At that point I will typically screw up the rout so bad for them that they end up raging out and leaving.

...? Why fight over a grind spot, when Maelstrom Arena exists? Why fight over a grind spot, when you can bang out more XP and possibly earn skill points by doing quests?
