Character Switching?

Hey guys, I am relatively new to the game and forums, picked up around this most recent new life festival event. Anyways I was wondering if at any time there was a way to quickly switch between your 8-15 characters? Was it an option and they removed it or is there talk of possibly adding it in the future? In my short time here I have learned that almost everyone, myself included, uses all their slots on almost the daily and especially during these events, master writ daily’s, farming daily’s etc.... If it was an option and they removed it why? And if it hasn’t yet been discussed why not?


By quick switching I mean something in the current character menu that allows you to just pick which one you want to switch to next, maybe instead of logging out completely there would be a drop down menu option to immediately switch to that next one and load from there... Now I will admit ahead of time I don’t completely understand all the things put in place to keep abusers from abusing if that is in fact the reason or all the in’s and out’s of the tech part of the game if that is the reason...

Just a curious observation that probably has an obvious answer that I cant see.

The answer is no unfortunately. You have to log out the choose your other char and log in again. It's pretty slow especially with add-ons.

See, I always assumed it was a tiny microscopic portion of the player base that did that. But that's also a generalization, generally I try to leave that out of my arguments, because the fact is that we simply do not know.

I'd commit eso-cide before ever filling up my character slots and bothering to log on each to do all dailies/writs. Its time consuming/boring and enough of a chore to do on a single character. It does however give some insight on the abysmal master writ drop chances if 'everyone' does 60 writs dailies...

There's a system like that in bdo, they rest should try to add it to eso.

I really wish they would look at Black Desert Online and do something similar to that.
