Not talking about the people that you can tell went and did something that is well above their capabilities to survive but the ones that do it on purpose, you can tell they taunt the boss, and then back up some and retaunt and just keep pulling the boss or dolmen enemies out of bounds to reset them.
Problems about people that taunt are there are some that do it with intent of doing it, versus some people not knowing the skills they are using rightly or they do bite off more than they can chew. The dolmen part however can brick a dolmen, dolmen bricking seems to be a rare thing to see.
But dolmen bricking is when someone tries to agro a certain section of enemies before the last two or so anchors can be pulled. If you are able to use all the anchors to clear it then it won't be an issue, just will be some enemies that you don't need to worry about. But it can get a dolmen stuck with some anchors not being able to be used and you get to look dumb hanging around a broken dolmen. Only solution for that I see is to leave the dolmen and come back later.

I assumed the person couldn't handle the load but since their spawn numbers is determined by how many players are there I never understood how they got that many to spawn in the first place. It's fun though blowing through them all in a few seconds, 3-5 Shock Clenches and watch all 16 of them explode is hilarious.

More than likely it could be someone likely bit off more than they can chew. Dolmens would have to have nothing there for that to happen and no anchors being interactable with. It is a very rare sight to see.

I’ve been playing the game since beta, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen the type of behavior from players that the OP describes. I’m not saying that it doesn’t happen (the player base is growing more toxic as time goes on), but rather that I personally haven’t seen it.
Actually, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a “bricked dolmen” either. I’ve seen: Chests, NPC corpses, and nodes (e.g. Ancestor Silk) that wouldn’t allow me to interact with them. So perhaps those things were “bricked”. But something like a dolmen? I can’t recall ever experiencing something like that.

I honestly don't recall ever seeing this happen in a case where it appeared intentional. I recall many cases of people fleeing at 15% health or pulling the boss out too far without realizng it.GrumpyDuckling wrote: »Why would they do that? OK, but if someone's farming WBs for drops, why tf would they being doing it on a tank? And dolmen bosses don't drop anything worth doing this nonsense over, all the good loot is in the chest and you get that regardless.
I'm no tank, and don't taunt, but I'll say that happening upon some player fighting a boss and joining in, and then accidentally pulling it out since I didn't know where it started from and resetting it (mostly happened in Crag), is one of the most embarrassing things that I've done - multiple times!

Maybe they only have a tank character?
No, I recall it happened once each with a few different bosses. I just hate to be the source of other's frustrations. Luckily I haven't experienced someone doing it repeatedly, and/or apparently on purpose.I'm no tank, and don't taunt, but I'll say that happening upon some player fighting a boss and joining in, and then accidentally pulling it out since I didn't know where it started from and resetting it (mostly happened in Crag), is one of the most embarrassing things that I've done - multiple times!
But did you do it multiple times in a row? It takes a certain amount of times in a row for me to prod test to see if they are doing it intentional. 1 or 2 times maybe they made a mistake, 3 or 4 or more... check their patterns to make sure they are trying to intentionally reset their boss. Check their health drops and if they are dying alot and so forth. Tell them to knock it off first or 2nd time. First time if you can tell they are trolling but leave room for them to improve their behavior. Then if there is a 5th time in zone chat let others know of what some troll is doing so others can come and assist you against the trolls. Last one is an extremely rare one for me to do. I usually just leave and wait a bit while doing some other quests or have you before I return to the spot. Usually the trolls leave by then.
