Home and guest campaign - How does it work ?

Hello,
Yesterday, I joined Cyrodiil in Kyne and had a bit of fun.
Today, I wanted to try another campaign, so I selected Shor and tried to go as a guest. A message box told me I have to wait 3 days and 8 hours to join another campaign.
I tried as my home campaign and it tells me I have to wait 12 hours.
It is my only char who joined Cyrodiil.
How is it so that I can only join 1 campaign at a time and that I have to wait so much longer to change my guest campaign ?

✭✭✭✭✭Because the system gets funky the first time you join up amd whenever you try to swap campaigns in rapid succession. Its basically to encourage campaign loyalty.
If you really want to play on a campaign, you can have a friend on your faction queue you in, I believe.
Otherwise, just wait out the timer. You'll be able to have a home and a guest campaign soon enough.5
