Overpowered Crafted Set combinations

Ok, so with the coming of Summerset Isles we will FINALLY be able to craft jewellery, which means we will be able to combine 2 (5-pieces) crafted sets in one build. I am really looking forward to it and I am already thinking about various combinations. In fact, I suspect some of them will be really OP! What do you think will be the most OP and/or common in game once the new expansion launches (both PVP and PVE)? I am thinking:
- Shacklebreaker and Hundings Rage
- Hundings Rage and Eternal Hunt
- Shacklebreaker and Julianos
- Twiceborn Star and Hundings Rage/Julianos

I can't really wait for theory-crafting PTS testing!

EDIT: a lot of these already work as two 5 piece crafted sets, just proc one on the back bar and the other on front bar with willpower or agility jewelry

Who knows if ZOS isn't nerfing sets because of that. I would rate it as quite likely though.

And this week depend on the jewel traits, any new sets, etc.

It's possible they might introduce 3 new crafted sets, which would make the above combinations void.

Definitely exciting; helps new players be combat effective by creating what they need instead of sitting in pve struggling to get the items they need.

Please stop using the word overpowered like this, I would rather ZOS not nerf all of the good crafted sets into uselessness.

I was thinking of going with julianos and mechanical acuity for dps, but there’s so many possibilities, lol. I really need ideas, too.

Well, magica classes who use staves on both bars still won't be able to run two full sets of crated gear unless they give up their monster set.

I'd wait for people to test that first. MA kinda makes the crit bonus on julianos worthless. At first thought it seems like a good idea, but in practice, there are probably better combinations.

To be honest just something as simple as seducer/julianos with apprentice mundus and all sp glyphs. I am probably gonna run something like this on my magblade for pvp to test it out.

I'm interested to test TBS (w/Warrior or Apprentice + The Shadow) with Mechanical Acuity for PvE. TBS health bonus means you can probably run regen food as well.

Is it sure they will introduce jewelery for existing sets? I doubt that, I merely expect them giving us a few new sets which can be crafted with jewelry.

Running 2x crafted sets would be a handicap in most cases.

The larger dmg increases available to specific types of dmg in medium sets or the temporary increases in heavy sets will outperform almost all crafted sets for burst PvP.

The two notable exceptions I can think of off the top of my head are mechanical acuity and clever alchemist.

I hope that's a joke. Even if hybrids could be overpowered, they wouldn't be with that set. Better combo Pelinal's with something that grant's massive weapon dmg. Or use shacklebreaker with something that gives a lot of resources (like the old trainee or TBS with stam+mag mundus).

ok, but your trying to get sets removed or nerfed and the wording is giving the impresion of the idea that certain sets or set combinations are too strong and should be altered in a negative way.
and if listened to and acted on will destroy alot of builds. and i mean ALOT of builds.

You can already use those setups but instead of seducer use alteration which is far superior.

Honestly, the bigger issue is if you can transmute sets from healthy to robust/arcane imo. For pvp, there could be some horrible setups.

I’ve also thought about tinkering with Torug’s and another set. I’d chew through soul gems like candy, but I’m curious if that could make for decent dps if combined with another set using the trait that buffs weapon enchants.

Same for dropped sets outside of the 3 piece ones who is pretty weak only nice if 5+3+2+1 there 1 is vma, master or AS weapon.

Main benefit its easier to get, you can also use set who require rotation, bow on stamina build is 5+4+2

Not any more op than some monster sets and one crafted set. People are just mad that crafters will be valid again.

None of the crafted sets are that much stronger than drop sets that jewellery crafting will introduce imbalances.

PvE? None of the crafted sets have anything remotely comparable to the synergy procs of dropped sets.

PvP? Drop sets have better defense (wizard's riposte, impregnable), better sustain (amberplasm, blood thorn), better utility (transmutation, spc) than any crafted sets.
