Did all the quests on 12 toons yesterday. I got 7 boxes, 8 banners, 3 cheery blossom runeboxes, 1 momento runebox, 3 Jewels of Misrule recipe and 1 Throne recipe. No tent yet. I legit don't have the time today or Sunday to grind all my toons for the tent and more purple recipes for my alts, so I hope I get lucky on Saturday.

It's rather annoying how short the event is, but all the same, this festival isn't one of my favs as I find the quests much more grindy and dull than the New Life ones and am kind of glad I don't have to feel pressed to do for longer.

On four characters out of eight I managed to get:

• Cherry Blossom Branch
• Jester's Scintillator memento
• Dubious Camoran Throne

and a bunch of green recipes and junk. Not bad. I'll run all eight characters tonight, should manage to get the rest of the swag.

I ran 8 characters yesterday for 31 event boxes. A few rune boxes, a few coffers, a couple of the purple pavilion plan. One jewels recipe, 0 DCT. Ugh.

@QuebraRegra I can tell you my side: opened up 33 boxes (9 characters, 6 of them were first timers, so extra box from scroll quest), 4 Dubious recipes... only 1 Jewel of Misrule.

agreed... to be frank, it's not really fun, multiplied by the number of times you have to run it to get something like DCT which is kinda META for some

At this point, if the price will drop below 50k I'm gonna be sorely tempted to just by the recipe and opt out of the bore-grind. *starts perusing gold seller sites

LOVE the tent but I wish it was Red and White instead of that nasty ugly purple. At least you can dye the costume, I wish you could Dye FURNITURE and Mount barding!

^ This ^ Yay! I absolutely love it. Also, got dubious camoran throne now for my stam toons. Keeping fingers crossed for the Jester Pavilion plan. Of course, don't know if it'll fit in the yard, (Riften house), but I want it anyways.

I've done 19 characters at least once, and a few of those twice now. (NA and EU servers)
I've only gotten the Dubious Cameron Throne recipe ONCE in all those boxes. Festival is only four days. It was enough to let me get the Royal Jester title on the character I wanted it on the most, but who knows if I'll be able to get the title on a second character.

Only three runs so far. One on a level 13 Templar who had to run to all the locations before doing the quests but was level 15 by the end of that, one on my main, and one on a level 27 Sorc. I got the new memento early on the Templar, nothing of note on my main, and two coffers on my Sorc. So if I can get the pavilion I'll be content I got the Jester achieves all done on my main during the first Jesters Festival and have no intention of trying to duplicate achieves across alts in this game.

I'm only participating in the festival for the XP and DCT recipe. If that recipe only has a .0000001% chance of dropping then I'll quit wasting my time.

I ran the festival with 8 characters yesterday. Out of the 32 reward boxes (since you get one per character just for showing up on the first day) I got 3 DCTs so the drop is not all that rare. Of course it IS RNG, so your luck may suck or may be better than mine.

I ran the event on 5 toons yesterday and 8 today resulting in 3 DCT's plus every other drop

So far at 47 boxes, 0 DCT recipes. I think I've gotten at least 1 of everything else though.

77 boxes across 2 days. 4 DCT, as well as 4 of the other purple recipe. So roughly 1 in 10 for a purple recipe, or 1 in 20 chance of DCT is my rate.

Is the pavilion recipe tradeable? I am starting to think it's just not going to drop for me, so I'm hoping to find it on a trader or in my guild bank.

Not urgent, I'm a ways off from actually crafting furniture of any sort, but I do like knowing how once I get serious about decor.

Yes, the pavilion recipe can be bought, sold, and traded.

Did 4 characters 4 days for 52 total boxes. I got one DCT recipe. I think that is garbage; if I wanted the event achievement on more than one character? Nope, even though I ran 4 chars through those quests every day.

Stam players who didn't get it for w/e reason will continue to be screwed throughout the year. Current TTC price of DCT? 100k+. Witchmothers? 2-10k. Wtf is that ***? This event just ended and there's still a shortage of dct, vs Halloween event that ended 5 months ago.

You're limited to 3 jester boxes per character, per day. With Witchmothers, you're limited only by your ability to grind content repeatedly until your eyes bleed.

Even if their drop rates are similar... which they might be, I'm not sure, Jester Boxes are far rarer than Plunder Skulls.

4 characters on all days with the exception of one who didn't make it before the 1am (my timezone) reset and I came away with multiples of everything. I think I had pretty good luck. The things I got the least of were JoM Recipe and the Pavilion Recipe, only two of each.

question: Do the fireworks work year around if you save them for special occasions?

got so bored running it, after 30 or so boxes finally got a DCT recipe (no tent) and just had to quit.

can we switch to a token buy system in the future... it's soo boring, and soo much junk to clear from the inventory?

I think I did 12 total, got 2 dubious and the pavilion.

Sold the thrones because it seems like the drop rate was increased

I haven't listed any yet but I will. I got several, to only one dct recipe and 2 jewels of misrule. I think ttc won't show or match the newest items (this plan, the scintillator rune box) for a while; it was like this for the newer items from the new life festival also.
